Re: Do people not like to prepare before the draft anymore?

You don't need to actually mock draft from every spot to know where you want to set your KDS. Any given draft is dynamic and no one knows if certain players will drop or be available. You can draft well from any spot if you get a bit of luck, meaning there are good values available in certain rounds.

Re: Friday Live Chat With Greg & Tom: All Day

It appears a good strategy is to take 3 WRs in the first 5 rounds and some would take 4 WRs in the first 6 rounds. This way a team can have a really good WR group. By taking 4 WRs, you do not give yourself much of a chance to improve your WRs with picks later on. Most likely the WRs you take in the ...

Adams in the third? Also I don't get why people keep picking Golden Tate so early. There are better WRs still available.

Re: Do people not like to prepare before the draft anymore?

I think the 3RR makes it kind of hard to mock draft. Just the change in the location of each round you pick means it is not an exact mock. I agree that even with a lot of prepwork, you have to go with the flow. See what players are available because you will likely only get to pick from a small grou...

Re: 2015 NFFC Early Draft Results

Is there a reason why you have only 6 rounds shown? The first 6 picks is certainly the most important part of your draft but one still needs to make a few more selections to fill out their starting lineup and whiffing on picks 7 to 10 can derail a team especially if it is the QB/TE.

Re: 3RR In The NFFC: Necessary Or Unnecessary Evil?

If one of the stud RBs or WRs falls to like 10th, 11th, 12th, then you are not losing much of an advantage. There are really good players left at the start of the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Then the talent drops off towards the end of the 3rd round. A guy drafting top 3 will not be able to pick a stud RB 2...

Re: 2015 NFFC Early Draft Results

Yeah no point in drafting Crabtree that high when no one is going to take him even a round or two later. The 3RR favors the team that has a late pick and a stud falls to them in the first round. Then they pick early again in the 2nd and 3rd. I think it is common actually for teams in these positions...

Re: Looking Back

I don't know how it is possible to even draft those four WRs and get Luck. That is not possible in drafts now because Cooks is not available in the 3rd always. Matthews gets taken in 3rd sometimes as well.
