FAAB Pickups before Season
Some managers may be in a pickle due to injury, etc. Based on offseason, there are players that managers want to try to pickup because of need or speculation. Is there a reason why managers do not have a one FAAB try before the season opener?

When mocking, I use Football Calculator and there mocks are pretty good. However the 3RR switch is enough that you cannot really predict who you will be able to draft.

I feel there is a definite advantage to having a draft position towards the end of the round. If a stud player drops to you at 10, you may not lose ground to a manager with a top 3-4 pick but get to pick early in rounds 2 and 3.
