What I meant is that suppose we have 14 teams in a league and 15 weeks of the regular season. I'd be okay with the idea that we play every team once, and we play 2 teams a second time, chosen randomly...rather than have two weeks of "all play."

Personally, I have no problem if we play a team or two 2X and everyone else just 1X. It's better than "all play" and there's a lot of luck involved in the W-L records, anyway. (In one of my league's this year the team with the top W-L record has the 2nd to lowest point total.)

At first, it sounded like a good idea, but then I realized if you're in a battle for 1st in W-L it's easy to track how your competition's game is going, but with "all play" it would be difficult, at best, to track your opponent. Yes, Jahvid can't run now. I picked up Maurice Morris on two teams yesterday. worked out great. Too bad it's too little, too late for those teams.

Anybody know when are they talking about starting and ending the season with 20 weeks? It would be very different to head to NYC or Vegas in the middle of August for a draft rather than Labor Day weekend.

Glenn -- If a team is hopelessly out of it by week 13, then you're point is correct. Having two more weeks in the regular season isn't going to matter to them. (In fact, they would probably be happy to have the regular season be over and start the consolation playoffs.) But after week 13, many teams...
