It seems like the hang up some people are having here is the idea of someone "changing" their pick. Maybe one solution would be that if someone's pick times out the pick is skipped without picking a player. Similar to the NFL draft in real life. Just putting it out there, but would any of the people signed up for this draft be willing to make it a 150 pay top 3 league? Then we would only need 2 more teams in order to draft.

I have 2 drafts coming up, a satellite tomorrow the 18th at 6pm and an OC draft on Monday the 20th at 4 pm. Think these will fill up or should I look into changing to new draft times?

How about just selecting a draft order instead of the actual teams? I know there's still a lot of luck involved and that if you get stuck at number 30 you're in a tough spot, but at least there's some sense of control in terms of which MLB team you pick. I think I'd be more likely to sign up at the 175 price range if we ran a draft style league for the teams. 175 is a lot of money to risk on pure chance of having an offensive team chosen for you.
