Re: This Year You Can Keep Winnings On Your Player Account
Of course there is a better way IMO -- pay the NFFC with a check (after making sure you have the money in your account - or course) --- and save the NFFC the 3 to 4% gouging that they take. The hell with the credit card companies.

Finally this punk got what he deserved, and Dallas has now lost 3 straight games.
Amen.

Please explain to me how E. Elliott is still playing
This guy should have been suspended many weeks ago. Instead we are still going through the slow moving 'justice' system, appeals, appeals, appeals, while the lawyers get rich.

Re: Rishard Matthews says he may retire....
Here's Matthew's salary information -- this website is pretty interesting.
https://overthecap.com/player/rishard-matthews/716/
Add up Matthew's salary and bonus money and if he retires today he will lose roughly $10,000,000.
Seems like a steep price to pay, to not stand for the anthem.

Rishard Matthews says he may retire....
If the NFL forces players to stand for the anthem. I say...... I dare you to do something so stupid. Your next stop will be bagging groceries. And this comes from a guy who really could care less if they even do the anthem at all. I'm there for the entertainment not the politics. But if the NFL deci...

Re: Week 5 Thoughts & Observations
Greg, agree with you on Rodgers -- great player headed to Canton. And yes your team is lucky to have Favre & Rodgers back to back. That hasn't happened often over the course of time. Don't look now but the Jets are 3-2. Josh McCown just won his third game in a row after going 13 years without winnin...

What was that about bad Thursday night games?
Unfortunately I flipped the game off at halftime, but it was a classic.

Re: Week 2 Thoughts & Observations
Good write up Tom. Let me add a comment. The NY Football Jets. That's J-E-T-S as in Just End The Season. Todd Bowles is in the running for the Jeff Fisher Clueless Coach Of The Year Award and is likely to be fired by mid season. If there's a more un-inspiring coach in the league, I haven't seen one....

Re: What's The Future Of Thursday Night Football?
The product just isn't as good as it was 25 years ago. There are way too many teams that do nothing more than throw short, throw short, throw short. Not enough interesting / trick plays. The NFL needs to think outside the box and make radical changes to make the game better. Moving the extra point l...
