With Regard To Draft Position & Performance

Good point about records vs. points (I hate head-to-head for that very reason). Let me break down the leagues by total points.

With Regard To Draft Position & Performance

Here's some more info for you guys to chew on. We have two KP Expert Leagues going on this season. Both are 12-team leagues. In the KP1 league, the team with the best record (yours truly at 8-0 :D ) picked 8th. The team that picked first is 6th overall with a 4-4 record. The team that picked 12th is...

Week 8 FAAB Bids

Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFFC league for the most sought-after free agents: New York League 1: Appleman had this week’s high bid, paying $482 for Derric...

Heavy Metal Is Week 8 Winner

Congratulations to Heavy Metal in New York League 5 for finishing first in the NFFC last week with 197.75 points. Priest Holmes' 41 points and Trent Green's 37.15 were the catalysts to the first-place finish. Other strong contributors were David Givens (30.1) and Reggie Wayne (29.9). For finishing f...

League Prizes vs, Grand Prize

I don't know if Greg has a definitive idea what we would do when we begin to grow this event. Would we increase the grand prize or leave that as a constant and improve the league payouts? Honestly, there are merits to both in my opinion. That's why a thread such as this is something Greg and I will ...

League Prizes vs, Grand Prize

Good topic JP. Greg's off in Arizona getting the lowdown on this year's minor league baseball crop (can you believe we're already prepping for our first fantasy baseball issue?) so he might not be checking the boards for a few days. But I know this is a topic he and I will both be interested to see ...

Who Did You Miss On?

That's right Billy. It's kinda drifted off tanget -- go figure :D . But I'm interested in hearing what guys you really liked and targeted and drafted who simply haven't lived up to expectations so far.

Mid Season A Standings

Originally posted by UFS: Without even looking, I bet you could take every NFFC draft from this year, rank them, by points, or W/L, or both, and not see any recognizable pattern. And if you did find one, the most likely reason is major injuries. Personally, I think this would hold true in most leagu...

Who Did You Miss On?

I think Barber is one of the guys a vast majority of people missed on. Even Barber was saying right before the start of the season that he expected Dayne to get more carries this season. Maybe he was BSing, but a lot of folks sure believed it.
