The Draft & Running Back By Committee (weber's thread)

Booty was a great pick for the Vikings, he should soon be the starter, if not late this year then next. The Steelers stole Mendenhall, Felix was Jerry's pick all the way no matter of talent, Arkansas... I like the Raiders picking McFadden, saw him a few times and he's so versatile, breakaway runner,...

BRIAN BROHM

let's see how well Rogers does first before putting the rookies at the head of the Pack. I think with the WRs the Packers have he'll do quite well this year. Good running game and D too. Seems like Favre can't let go, I heard a few clips of his and he just doesn't seem to accept that he retured. He ...

Madden Curse 2009

Maybe they just got tired of hearing about the jinx and also like LT saying NO to being on the cover last year they couldn't get an active player to agree to be on the cover!!LOL Worst thing for Favre, I hope, is simply agonizing over retirement perhaps being too early especially if the Pack gets to...

Some Very Preliminary Rankings

I think frank gore at 7 is a reach, Palmer at 8 is way too low, AP was so great last year I thought he'd be 2 or 3
Curious about Ernest Graham and Ryan Grant's rankings, then we have the rooks coming in as well

Patriot's '08 Schedule

How does a team that goes 16-0 get the easiest schedule?

For once the Raiders didn't get totally screwed they get the 3rd easiest ! usually they have top 5 hardest. Hope all the money Al spent comes to fruition for a decent team this year, it's been tough to watch!

YOU EITHER GET IT DONE, OR YOU DON'T!
DJack did not get it done with the 49ers last year, numerous coaches stated he had the worst hands of any WR they had ever seen!!! I succumbed to home town heros and had him in 3 of my 22 teams last year and he was useless.

Packers vs. Cowboys: Pick The Score

I tend to agree about Gumbal, he didn't seem to know what to talk about and when he did misidentified players and plays , who picked this guy to do NFL broadcasts? Wonder who the replacement is? Haven't read anything about a new hire as of yet.

Favre Retires !!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta hand it to Favre, all the records, consecutive starts is what is most impressive, 3 time MVP, Super Bowl winner. I admire what he has accomplished even when I was hating on him and the packers for beating the 49ers on the way to the Super Bowl. He had a great career!! Top 5 of all time! I do a...

QB Height

Joe Montana was barely 6" and I remember Steve Young saying he often threw the ball to where the receiver was supposed to be even though he couldn't see him. And I liked watching Doug Flutie play, seemed to succeed as far as height , remember Dan McQuire's brother beign 6' 8 " and he couldn't play f...
