Re: VA Fantasy bill...

New York is considering one time operator fee of $500,000. :o A look inside the bill What does the bill do? It diverges from the light regulation that is moving forward in many states, but takes a more stringent approach like in Florida and a handful of other states, where legislation has evolved th...

Re: VA Fantasy bill...

I was surprised not to see any threads from Greg or Tom on here. Considering Indiana also did the same thing. Sweet Home Indiana: Gov. Mike Pence signed legislation on Thursday that made Indiana the second state to regulate fantasy sports, joining Virginia. The law includes a $50,000 licensing fee, ...

Re: New York ban on DFS

Hey Greg. I don't think I am being shortsighted. I get why they are doing this and whether we think they are right or wrong, FanDuel and DraftKings were advertising every five minutes about giving away 2 billion dollars this year, and brought this on themselves. Whether they get shut down or not, I...

The great Maxdalury is basically, a glorified programmer. I am sure he knows about the NBA, but its basically algos and math at this point for this guy. He is akin to a high frequency trader on wall street. He has not done that many interviews, but just did one with mmqb. http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/201...

Re: DraftKings employee wins fanduel 350K with Inside Inform

My concern is the same as Erok. I just pray that this DFS insider trading basically, doesn't take the whole ship of fantasy football with it. I really don't see regulators who barely are aware how science works. To see a big difference between DFS and season long, when they write the legislation for...

Re: Fandom: Fantasy Football Movie Trailer

Spent a couple of days with these guys in Omaha a long time ago. If they leave me out it looks like it has potential:) No, you are in it with the whole family. I made it in as well. I said something like "The guy in first place is up like 50pts in playoff race". Then they cut to you saying "I win b...

Re: John Bovery

Ouch. Although, what he did seems more of a legal gray area. Thank goodness fantasy football has been defined as legal by the govt.
