Can You Win From Any Draft Slot?
Originally posted by Greg Ambrosius: Is there more luck involved in a 1-week playoff format for $2,500 than in 13 weeks of head-to-head competition? 2006 NFFC_Improvements
As someone on the outside looking in, I can tell you that not having rule 3 will definitely affect attendance. Going through the rules, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Not saying it will keep me away but it may, and I'm sure it will for some. The other two suggestions look like they could be intere...

League Championship changes?
RC - I'll be in either Vegas or NY depending on whether I can get some Vegas time in between now and the draft. Maybe the opportunity to be in the same league with the likes of Tkats could sway my decision.

League Championship changes?
Power rankings would be cool. But guess that and all-play look to be to radical a change. I hope there's some serious consideration for some type of league playoff since head-to-head sounds like its here to stay. Love the post - Tkats96. Its makes we want to jump in and play against what has to be s...

League Championship changes?
What's the word on potential changes to deciding league champ? I've looked through the message board some in anticipation of signing up with NFFC this year and saw that last year's members may be polled on possible changes. What's the plan on doing that and announcing any decisions? Sounds like this...

Website Access
Is there any way that access to the website with the leagues, rosters, stats, etc. can be opened up so that people who weren't in it last year can get a better feel for the NFFC? I would highly recommend it if interested in attracting new owners, especially those who were in other high stakes league...

14 Team Leagues
FYI Tom - Boldin was drafted in a handful of WCOFF (12 team) leagues last year. He undoubtedly would have been taken in a number of more leagues if there were 14 teams and 25 more RBs/WRs drafted. He was on my list of about 100 WRs but I never got down far enough on my list to consider him. Maybe I ...

14 Team Leagues
Increasing to 14 teams would have meant last year that Boldin gets drafted by more teams. Does that make it a skillful draft pick or more of a lucky pick on say the 90th WR drafted when choosing among few guys left who will even sniff at playing time. In hindsight, it will look like a genius pick bu...

14 Team Leagues
Moss is a bad example. Last year he would have been a mid-level drafted WR with 90+ WRs drafted in the league. He would have been drafted by someone looking to play him often. A good pick in a 12 or 14 team league - he doesn't play into this debate. You'll be drafting NFL teams' 3rd string RBs and 4...

14 Team Leagues
I recently heard about this league and really like the idea of regional drafts and no events fee (I was in WCOFF last year). But the one thing that I'm leary of is the combination of the large league size (14 teams) and the large starting roster size (basically 6 RBs/WRs starting). To a point, sprea...
