Re: NFFC Rules Changes Proposed For 2021; Let's Discuss

Other thoughts: 14 weeks head to head with a 3 week championship. Who says you can only play another team once? Yes you might get lucky or unlucky with the schedule but it's still more fun than all play. And to be perfectly honest, the H2H means very little in the NFFC with the emphasis on total po...

Re: NFFC Rules Changes Proposed For 2021; Let's Discuss

like this idea a lot. Currently we're doing this the 1st 2 weeks when teams are at full strength ad competing the hardest. Since we know that dead teams tend to give up especially at the end of the season why not eliminate the luck of schedule factor as much as possible. It would seem the top teams ...

Re: NFFC Rules Changes Proposed For 2021; Let's Discuss

It does look like the NFL owners are going to implement a 17 game season starting in 2021 with only one bye week per team. It's hard to believe that they don't add another bye week for the players, but as it stands now it looks like we are looking at an 18-week NFL regular season. Thoughts on the 2...

Re: NFFC Rules Changes Proposed For 2021; Let's Discuss

I can create another thread for these three questions and I'll even add a survey somewhere, but what are your quick thoughts on these points: 1. Would you prefer having the third WR spot changed to a Dual Flex position (RB/WR/TE)? 2. Would you prefer that change to Dual Flex or would you be interes...

Re: NFFC Rules Changes Proposed For 2021; Let's Discuss

The 10 roster spots and 20 total spots are the right mix, we think. Drafting Tight Ends is like drafting Catchers in baseball; there's a lot of strategy in whether Kelce is worth a second round pick or if just waiting for Evan Engram to bust out makes more sense. I have been intrigued about a second...

[ 3. Double-Flex instead of 3 WR - This isn’t a big one for me either way. I’m good with 2RB/3WR/1TE/1Flex. But I like the double-flex more than either other lineup change suggested by others so far (do away with TE or add a WR/TE flex). Every year I have teams where I've drafted and FAAB'd well and...

Re: NFFC Rules Changes Proposed For 2021; Let's Discuss

2. Could we have a league where standings are based totally based on win-loss record - but each week teams get two decisions...first, teams (as usual) get a win or loss based on the individual matchup and second, teams get a decision based on whether it is in the top half of the league for points th...

Re: NFFC Rules Changes Proposed For 2021; Let's Discuss

Wednesday and Saturday are definitely the correct FAAB days. For kicker, I'd probably lean towards non team kicker as the team defense and team kicker listings look almost identical. Also when trying to use a tool like fantasy pros to look at available kickers and their schedules...or the kicker ran...

Re: Week 14 Thoughts & Observations

Here are some random thoughts and observations about Week 14 as I wonder what the Mahomes-Rodgers Super Bowl is gonna be like. Remember last week when I narrowed the MVP field down to Pat Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers? Well, it’s Rodgers’ award to win now. Mahomes was uncharacteristically sloppy in Kan...
