Re: Embarrassing

I happen to feel the NFL is a coaching and system league. What I mean by that is how a player performs is hugely related to the circumstances he is in... this especially rings true at QB. I am not saying Mark Sanchez is a big time player or even a legit NFL QB. What I am saying is he has been mired ...

Re: I'm confused.....

This came up last week.. if a coach throws the challenge flag TOO EARLY he loses the ability to benefit from a challenge... I believe in some cases a play can cease to be challenged at all.. Mike Francesa was talking about this loophole on the radio this week.. How a team who gains the ball on a fum...

Re: I hate this time of the year...

What if my opponent late in the season still has a playoff shot via H2H record and I'm pretty sure I'm going to make it into the playoffs via points? And I decide that, I'd sure rather face HIM in the playoffs for the extra prize money than the owner whose record he would exceed by beating me? In s...

Re: Just left 54 points on my bench

can't get upset about points on bench when the logical start scored lower. Schaub in a game vs a dead team that wasn't expected to be a shootout would never get started over Brady in a game that does look like it could be a shoot out.

Re: I hate this time of the year...

Got heem, To me, having an automated system that pulls players listed as OUT or on BYE if there is a viable alternative on the bench is not an example of "greg and tom managing teams." I am not sure how it can be done, but I have to believe something can be done about this. The problem may not be ab...

Re: NFFC Rules Discussion For 2013

I too think teams who quit can be the biggest negative experience in playing a fantasy football league. I have to believe something can be done to improve on the situation. I am not saying I know what it is, but I believe the high level football minds here could come up with something if the topic w...

Re: Not a fan of bad weather football

Billy, I would argue had that game been played in good weather it would have been a completely different game and we would not have seen the six or seven (not sure how many) turnovers we saw regardless of how good the defenses are. Guys falling all over the place. Ugly game. From a fantasy perspecti...

Re: Not a fan of bad weather football

we have hit the FIVE turnover in the first quarter mark...lol This from two of the best teams in the NFL this year... As I said, when it becomes more about dealing with the elements than it is the other team, it loses some luster for me. I am very into the chess match of game planning and making adj...

Re: Not a fan of bad weather football

From a purely basic football viewing aspect it can be fun. But when the game matters and it becomes more about dealing with the weather albeit extreme snow, rain, wind, cold it kind of turns me off some.
