Not a fan of bad weather football
I know it is fun to watch guys play in the rain or snow or elements and from a purely recreational viewing standpoint, I see how that can be fun for a fan. But in big games (ie playoffs) or for fantasy, I hate bad weather because it levels the playing field and often ends up being about the players ...

Re: NFFC Rules Discussion For 2013
I just think running the final faab Saturday protects owners more (than running friday) from the unforeseen disaster that can leave you with a zero in your lineup. Being stymied like that is about the worst experience that exists in fantasy football that does not belong in the game. I think figurin...

Re: WOO HOO!!!
I have never seen an offensive collapse like this. Think about it, this is an elite QB, with elite receivers, in the same system that he has run for years... and earlier this year he was explosively productive even with backup WR's in there... Now, suddenly they are completely helpless and no injuri...

Re: NFFC Rules Discussion For 2013
sandman, You make a good point. I am sure convenience is what the game operators think of most. I guess what I was thinking is that a fantasy game of this magnitude and prestige should make the rules as fair and logical as possible for the game, and let the consumers figure out a way to fit it into ...

Re: NFFC Rules Discussion For 2013
I am a big fan of the final FAAB run late Saturday. Anything that protects owners from the unforeseen situations that can leave an owner stymied. A player gets sick, is in an accident, gets arrested, whatever... Something happens on Friday night or Saturday and an owner is stuck.

Re: NFFC Rules Discussion For 2013
sandman, Thanks for the post. In my previous post I mentioned agreeing with Cocktails about that issue. I guess I worded my question poorly. I meant to ask if there is any other problem with running the full faab later other than the one I already agreed with Cocktails on. My mistake. I guess my poi...

Re: NFFC Rules Discussion For 2013
It is really a tough choice and good debate. I have also adjusted to the current system and have yet to be burned bad Having said that, I totally get the point being made by Cocktails in that your 3rd preferred WR may play Thursday and you would want to make that person a conditional bid but only ha...

Am I only person to lose with Doug Martin?
I am watching Martin explode... and I will pat self on the back as he was my favorite RB to target this year... Sadly I only got him on 2 of 4 teams. Having said that, I must be the only person to lose with him. Thanks to Eli and Antonio Brown combining for about 7 points... I must be the only one.

Re: And then we have fantasy football
I will respectfully disagree about there being no skill involved in preparing for a draft or drafting in general. I think we may be talking semantics here but the guy whos shows up at the draft with an outdated magazine and cheat sheet, to me, is less skilled then the guy who has his information tog...
