Re: New York ban on DFS
I believe horse racing is legal "gambling" in the state of New York. What is the difference?

Re: Week 8 Thoughts and Observations
I also never thought I'd see a week of football where Alex Smith had more rushing yards in a game than Aaron Rodgers had passing yards. Crazy game that we play!

[quoteRichard Sherman wasn’t messing around on Sunday. You wanna be the best? Shut down the best.
Not sure that truly counts with Matt Cassel at QB. I'd sure love to see the Dez-Sherman match-up on a week where Dez isn't coming off an injury and when Romo is back.

Re: Definition of Gambling
Nah. Its right. Think about it. If you pushed the pot every time you were in the lead after the first two cards, you would lose a lot. So, lets figure that you wait. Then you would see the odds too often even as the hand went on. You would lose your edge and then sill push the pot too many times. C...

Yes, the run was what I questioned. If you're going to run there, give to Bell. I had no issue with the play call to throw short to AB, Vick just made a bad throw.Tom Kessenich wrote:Unless you meant the fourth-down run by Vick? Yeah that call was horrific. I would've punted.

Re: Antonio Brown: What Will Happen To Him With Vick At QB?
People also need to remember that it was a short week. In addition to that, the Steelers get M. Bryant back next week and don't play until Monday night. My guess is that they will open the game plan up a bit more and allow Vick to take some more shots downfield. I don't think I would panic after jus...

Re: Antonio Brown: What Will Happen To Him With Vick At QB?
In Vick's defense, Brown did drop a TD that he should have caught (by his standards). Vick didn't lose this game. Scobee and some questionable calls by Tomlin (Scobee forced his hand) loomed large. Vick did make a bad throw on 4th down that most likely ices the game but he should have never been in ...

Re: Week 3 Thoughts & Observations
I have to admit that after three weeks, it looks like I was dead wrong on Forsett this year. I was one of those thinking he had had a great shot to catch 75 balls as well as be an effective rusher. I anticipated a regression compared to what he was able to do on the ground last year but he's becomi...
