Anyone Up For A 5-Round Mock Draft?

Ken and Paul, you're in. We'll likely start it a little after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday after my late lunch/hoops game. Will Robertson is also in and Dave Cushard wants to do it as well. So we're amassing some serious players for this mock draft. I have a feeling we can do 70 picks in an hour and then ...

Anyone Up For A 5-Round Mock Draft?

Okay, Tom Kessenich and myself are tired of looking at fantasy football rankings and ratings. We're hungry for some live drafts and we're interested to see how the first couple of rounds in the NFFC will play out. That being said, we want to get the ball rolling and coordinate some live mock drafts ...

Words of advice for Las Vegas!

I agree John as right now the airfare to Vegas is reasonable. We have several rooms set aside at the Flamingo for $65 per night on Wednesday and Thursday and $129 per night on Friday and Saturday. We'll keep that room block up until a couple of weeks before the event, so feel free to grab your room ...

Best game around!

John, we thank you for your endorsement and nothing talks louder than cash. Having you sign up for all three events in Las Vegas after attending our baseball event is validation that you have enjoyed your baseball experience. The whining is over rules that aren't covered explicitly and I have no pro...

NFFC Rosters Will Be 18 Players

I originally had it at 18 rounds and then decided on 20. But after talking with our guys here and some of the early signups, I really feel that 18 rounds with 10 starters is ideal for a 14-team league. We still have the thinnest waiver wire in the high-stakes area as 252 players will be selected on ...

Who's Coming To The NFFC?

Let's welcome another NFBC member to the gridiron contest as David Zwickel and his brother, Gregg, of New York have signed up for the NFFC main draft at the New York Hilton. David said he's having a blast in the NFBC, even though his team is struggling near the bottom of his New York league. With a ...

Refunds On Other High Stakes Games

Scott, ours is definitely a go. We are already paying for the space in three cities, so there's definitely going to be three parties!!! Now it's filling up the dance card for each party, which I'm confident we'll achieve. Like baseball, we'll work hard and be available to answer questions at all tim...

Refunds On Other High Stakes Games

The fantasy football industry has no fewer than a dozen high-stakes contests this year with at least seven live drafts. Is that too many? The market will decide that and you, the fantasy football enthusiast, will decide where to spend your money. If a competing event/contest looks better than the NF...

NFFC Rosters Will Be 18 Players

The NFFC main draft will consist of 18 rounds, two fewer than had been originally announced on this site. Each team will start 10 players per week, so having eight reserves will still be enough while allowing the in-season FAAB period to have major significance. With 14-team leagues, there will be a...
