Faulk Rumor

You draft him then, snake but, I don't touch rookie running backs until they prove they can handle the load. Gordo could be 0-6 before Steven Jackson starts to shine. The only rookie back to come through last year was Dominick Davis and he didn't start shining until Week 7 or 8.

Faulk Rumor

Gordon, if that's true, your pick looks better but I find it hard to believe that even Mike Martz isn't stupid enough to subject Marc Bulger to praying Steven Jackson will pick up blitz packages. I would expect Lamar Gordon to get first crack at it.

I agree with Walla Walla. Our league winner last year drafted Priest Holmes in the first, Randy Moss in the second, and Tory Holt in the third. He grabbed McNair in the fifth and never looked back. You can get a solid back in the first and still get your qb and wr in the second and third.

Friday Schedule

Greg, I have no problem with moving the Draft Masters leagues up to 1 P.M. as I will be landing in Vegas at 11:40 A.M. and will be ready to go when I get to the Flamingo.

wr choice

Tough call, Stephen. Johnson is getting a rookie QB basically in Palmer while Walker has Favre. I think I'd give the nod to Johnson though because I think Palmer will look to Johnson more at crunch time whereas Favre likes to spread the ball around to everybody.

The utilitiy spot went from wr-rb to wr-rb-te?

Local league, $1000 per team, $10 per transaction and trade, 14 players, 12 teams, scoring similar to Draft Masters League. We're looking for two more teams with the draft being August 29 in New Orleans. Interested, Gordon? If not, maybe we can get together in Vegas for a little side wager.

The utilitiy spot went from wr-rb to wr-rb-te?

I've been playing in high-dollar leagues for a long time, the last two years with 14 man rosters and no IR, and 18 looks like gold to me. My experience has been that the fantasy teams that win the championship are the teams that make the right free agent moves throughout the course of the season to ...
