Free Agent Bidding???

Post by kal8898 » Mon Sep 06, 2004 6:52 am

Ok, How exactly is the FA process working? I will assume that it starts AFTER the week #1 games are played, right? If a player wasn't bid on by the FA Bid deadline, can that player still be had after the bidding process is over on say a first come first serve basis? Is there a minimum you need to bid on an FA? Thanks,

Let me try to explain:

1. It starts AFTER week #1
2. You bid whatever you want out of your $1,000.
3. Highest bid wins the player
4. You can put in as many bids as you want, you can put in conditional bids if you want

(i.e. Give me Detroit Defense for $1, dropping Chicago Defense, conditional pick $1 on Green Bay Defense if I don't get Detroit and conditional $1 pick on Minnesota Defense if I don't get Detroit or Green Bay.)

The system will award the highest bid and then cycle around, etc.

It's blind - so you have no idea what everyone else is bidding. Go big or stay home ;)

Only one shot a week. No free rides after the bidding. Next shot is the next week's bids.

Does my team look good?

QB: Culpepper/Manning
RB: Holmes/Tomlinson/Alexander/A.Green
WR: Moss/Holt/Harrison/Owens/Ward
TE: Gonzalez/Heap

I didn't draft a kicker or defense...won't need one.

What's ROFL mean? If it's an insult, I would like to retort. I only made it through 8th grade, so lighten up the text in your answer please. Thanks and good luck.
