Bust of the year?

Post by KenGill » Mon Oct 19, 2009 10:56 pm

Many good candidates (Eddie Royal, Steve Smith) come to mind but my votes goes to Brandon Jacobs who has had only 1 TD all season after scoring 15 last year.

I figured with Derrick Ward gone, Jacobs would at minimum, put up numbers comparible to last season. It's not happening.

In my Primetime league i was up 134.15 to 134 .10 to another team.I was out of players and he had Royal.I need Royal not to run for 5 yards or catch 1 pass.He doesnt do either and i escape but doesnt seem right as Royal scored 2 touchdowns on special teams.

Steve Smith, CAR

In 5 games, 21 receptions, 259 yards and no tds.

Yes, he is a bust and quite possibly the BOY (Bust of Year) for 2009.

Eddie, you had to think that there was no way he doesn't run one reverse or catch at the very least one darn pass.

This is a fun game of skill!

You better check that they guy hasn't jumoed off a bridge!

That is comparable to Lee Evans during Week 11 lat year. I know A BUNCH of people who either just needed 1 point, or would have lost had he scored 1 point that benefited or got screwed because he didn't catch a pass.

Crazy game this is! :D

John 3 out of 35, 2 of them DCs from May 2009.

Unless they were at ridiculous values, I really tried to stay away from Bills, Bucs and Chiefs by the time Labor Day weekend rolled around. Nothing screams RED FLAG like firing your Offensive Coordinator 2 weeks before the season.

Bills, Bucs and Chiefs

Agree.

I liked M.Cassell early. Don't have him on any of my High Stake League Teams.

I do have L.Evans and as soon as I made that pick I said I just f'ed up. Would have picked A.Bradshaw instead. I have Lynch as You know, liked were I got him.

Bucs are well the Bucs.

So my two worst picks this year were Eddie Royal and L.Evans. :(
