Mike Vick called out

Post by David U. Kennedy » Mon Sep 26, 2011 12:59 pm

Steve Young and Trent Dilfer both called Vick out for not playing with a bruised not broken hand. Romo goes back in with a broken rib and punctured lung. I think Cowboy fans are way too critical of Tony. He has the numbers and proven his toughness. Vick looks like a Pansey compared to Romo. I would want Romo to play QB for my Bills any day. Go Tony tonite. 422 yds 4 Tds two go to Dez tonite. Vick and your bruised hand all I can say is "come on man". And quit crying about being hit. Its footbal and it happens. Maybe Vick can play in the Flag Football League instead. Im done

Completely agree, Vick is too soft. Tony Romo is an ironman and actually cares about what happens to his team, it seems that Vick just cares about himself, that is where the difference lies...

Young and Dilfer are morons. The trainers told Vick it was broken. WTF do you want him to do. They don't have CATScan machines in the locker room.

I think Vick has the physical toughness but not the mental toughness to persevere through the hard times. He's a frontrunner basically. Reminds me of Ryan Leaf in a way. Guys that have had smoke blown up their backside so much that when the tough times come around they can't handle it. Vick was looking for a way out of that game because the Giants were bringing it. The bruised hand gave him a convenient exit.

Vick has little character. I think that was proven well before this weekend and is not isolated to his football life.

Romo's shown a lot to me this past week plus. He's obviously a lot tougher than many gave him credit to be. I still think he needs to actually come through in a season-defining moment before he sheds the choker label. For me, this game wasn't enough. Still, it's a start.

Plus let's face it. He's got a pretty good track record with blond country singers.

The trainers also told Romo last week that his ribs were broken, look where Romo was, on the field. Take note Jay Cutler and Michael Vick!
