Hey Tom - you never did answer my question on Steve Jackson - do you not like him (or dare I say is it me?!)... I do like him in terms of talent. What I don't like are:

1. Faulk's not going away. He will continue to have a sizeable role on offense.

2. Martz isn't a running coach. Even when Faulk was putting up some of the greatest seasons in NFL history Martz still wanted to throw more. I'm not sure that mindset will change with Jackson at RB.
[/QUOTE]Snake, I know this question was for Tom, but I have to ring in on this too...Martz is probably the worst coach I've seen since that "BuddyBall" thing in Arizona awhile back. There's no doubt in my mind that St. Louis would have went deeper in the post season last year AND this year with someone else at head coach.

SO EVEN THOUGH U KNOW fAULK IS GONNA GET HIS SHARE AND THE FACT THAT MARTZ LOVES TO THROW U WOULD STILL RATHER HAVE JACKSON THAN ONE OF THE ROOKIE STARTERS, HUH??

I like Jackson's talent. He's a very talented RB and I think he is going to have plenty of big games. And he will be used in the passing game as well. All of the rookies bring with them issues and/or competition for touches as well. So when you factor that into the equation yes I'd rather have Jackson than any of the rookie RBs.

Tom
Why does Stats keep screwing with the fonts today?
Earlier the letters were so big I thought I was taking an eye exam.

Now they're so small you need a magnifying glass to see them. I hear that's how snake feels every time he uses the mens room!

Snake, I really like Steven Jackson simply for the fact that Martz's job is finally on the line and he'll do what's right this year versus what he wants to do. Bottom line is he has a big back for a change who can handle the load. I see Jackson putting up top 10 stats.
