Patriots will go 12-4 and finish in first place. Moss will have 4 pass attempts, 2 completions, 17 total yards passing, and 2 passing TDs. I am guessing the TDs will come against Miami!

this thread has confirmed my thoughts on the RB situation in NE. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. i for sure am not going to assume they are going to run the ball early and not let moss, welker, and galloway get their touches. Mr. Brady will be primed and ready.

Now, back to the intent of the thread. I think NE will battle SD this season for AFC supremacy, pending Brady being fully recovered.

There's just too many weapons.

i agree the rb situation in NE is a mess but belicheck has made older veterens look young and great.
examples - curtis martin and cory dillon , when most coaches thought those 2 were done and old and washed up , belicheck got them to have career years.
can he do this with fred taylor?
we will see but it wouldnt surprise me at all for him to make one of these vets a star this year.
just dont know which one it will be

Great thoughts all. This is a solid start to our series and like I said I'd love to see this thread updated each time we see news on the Patriots' RB situation or Brady's first full contact scrimmage, etc. New England fans who can give us quotes from the Boston area newspapers would be handy too. What the heck, if we all share information it will just make for a more competitive contest and be good for everyone. Well, at least good for those folks who take the time to read the boards.

Okay, once I get done taking Super signups I'll prepare my second team writeup. Let's go with those loveable J-E-T-S fans and give them the lowdown on their beloved Favre-less franchise.

I'll post that soon.

What are some of your thoughts on Joey Galloway being a part of this team? I'm not a huge fan of Galloway but he has put up some pretty respectable numbers with sub-par QB's.

Thoughts?
