Another one bites the dust....
My #2 RB is J.J. Arrington and I have to start him most weeks. Although I DID pick Marion Barber up. Does this define me as a quitter?

A quitter is the last thing I would call you, Al. You have too much passion for this game to be classified a quitter.

Thank you, Rick. You are truly a class act. Good luck if you're still in the running. I personally dropped out of contention in early October, but I'll keep posting a (debatable)competitive lineup until they drag me away kicking and screaming.
BTW..when you get a chance, let me know your thoughts on my thread titled "Nobody asked me, but"...I value your opinion and I feel strongly about my question. Thanks. Also...Al is my alter-ego. My real name is Rich.

There is nothing that can or should be done.
You simply cannot legislate someones competitive nature.
Yours may be more competitive and the quitters less.
So be it, move on to something you could control.
It's a shame someone quits.

This is a high end league with a lot at stake. If a team can't spend 10 minutes a week, at most, to make sure they have every position filled than they shouldn't be invited to play anymore.
It's that simple. Fantasy football is growing in popularity every year, and I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem getting every league filled. If not I'd rather have less teams and less of a prize purse than have an owner in the league who has a record of quitting.

That is why I prefer Power Scheduling. This is where you play every team in your league each week. So if you beat everyone you would be 13-0 for the week. The Fantasy Jungle runs it that way and we don't have this problem. If one guy tanks, every team will beat him that week. This lessens the luck factor immensley. There is something to be said for that system. The better teams DO rise to the top.

I AM IN NY5 AND A TEAM THAT IS TIED IN FIRST WITH ME IS PLAYING A TEAM THAT DID NOT EVEM BOTHER TO PUT A FULL LINE UP IN EVEN THOUGH HE COULD. I FIND THIS MATTER A HUGE PROBLEM IN THE NFFC. LAST YEAR WHEN MY TEAM WAS KILLED BY INJURY I WOULD BE A GENTLEMAN AND PICK UP WHOMEVER TO FILL MY TEAM AND RESPECT THOSE PLAYING FOR SOMETHING. I PLAY THIS GAME FOR FUN AND FOR MY COMPETITIVE NATURE. THIS TAKES THE FUN AWAY.
THIS IS THE BUSINESS WE HAVE CHOSEN

It defines you as a moron for drafting arrington.

To The Next Big Thing - That was a low-class cheap shot and not very funny.
I respect King of Queens and any other owner who keeps playing despite injuries and drafting players who haven't worked out up to this point of the season.
There's an unwritten honor system in good fantasy football leagues and these owners adhere to it.
The power scheduling idea sounds interesting. I'm for anything that reduces the luck element.
