I am considering dropping my 7th round draft choice...

Post by pizzatyme » Tue Oct 02, 2007 4:21 am

The stubbornness in me says to keep the Ravens D. I know I know, I should have never drafted the Ravens. It has cost me depth at other positions.

They look old and slow.

What gives?

Can someone either pull me back from the ledge on this one or push me off. I'm good either way, just do it! :D

I do! This is the problem. I was none too excited about my choices in the 7th. I made a massive mistake there, no doubt about it.

In my 5 NFFC teams, that is the only one I decided to be a dumba$$.

I did the same thing in the 8th round with the Chargers for the EXACT same reason. :(

While I agree with you Snake, the people who took Chicago last year (with an 8th or 9th rounder) were CLEARLY happy with that selection (as were those who took Baltimore).

A defense who is HEAD AND SHOULDERS above the rest can be a huge advantage. However, this year is proving that predicting that is no easy task. Hence THIS YEAR waiting till round 16 WAS the smart play thus far.

Wonder what 2008 will be like?

2008 will be like me picking my D in the 19th or 20th round! ;)

Have fun playing him! I can't wait to see him continue to get you 3.3 catches and 50 yards per week!
