am I the most pathetic ever?

Post by larry schechter » Mon Oct 24, 2011 8:44 am

My Ultimate League team started RB's this week of Torain (-0.5) and Choice (-0.2) for a total of negative 0.7 points.

Has anyone ever had a more pathetic showing?

I think my combo of Vincent Jackson (2.5) and Miles Austin (3.6) is worse because they are suppose to be studs and were drafted in the first three rounds.

At least Torain and Choice were either WW pickups or late draft picks.

I am pretty sure in one season, my Man Event team scored 150 in one week, and 45 the next. Yes. 45. I feel your pain.

Has anyone ever had a more pathetic showing? Wow... though I would respectfully disagree that this makes someone pathetic... To be honest, while in bye week hell or dealing with some injuries, these were two very reasonable RB plays especially vs poor run stopping defenses.

Bad luck.

If you forget for a minute that they might be bye week or injury fill-ins, and just consider how many points you'd normally expect to get from your two RB spots, it's pretty amazing how bad it is.

But I'm not upset about it, because this team is so awful I've already written them off!

Originally, my RB's for this week were supposed to be Jamaal Charles and Hillis.

Renman -- Yeah, thanks. I didn't really mean to say that this makes me pathetic. I actually was going to name this thread "the most pathetic ever," but I was afraid people would assume I was referring to the Colts and their game last night. Which, by the way, was pretty incredibly pathetic.

Larry,

I know what you are saying... that is certainly a pathetic output from guys you would expect more from with what I would argue had great matchups.

I have this in the past.. if not for fantasy football pain fantasy football glory wouldn't feel so good. The agony simply means we care and when you stop caring we might as well stop playing.
