Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Oct 23, 2008 2:28 am

Bal -1.0 Rushing Yards for Joe Flacco
StL -1.0 Passing Completions for Marc Bulger
StL -1.0 Passing Attempts for Marc Bulger
StL -10.0 Passing Yards for Marc Bulger
StL +1.0 Rushing Attempts for Donnie Avery
StL +10.0 Rushing Yards for Donnie Avery
StL -1.0 Receptions for Donnie Avery
StL -10.0 Receiving Yards for Donnie Avery

DEF LOST 6 POINTS, I THOUGHT STATS CHANGED R. DAVIS FUMBLE RECOVERY TO A SPECIAL TEAMS TD. SINCE IT DOES NOT SHOW UP ON THE OFFENSE SIDE OF THE STATS. OR ON THE STAT LINE FOR DAVIS????

I read that they were missing 3 or 4 of their corners, so I figured [correctly] that MIN would hang 40+ on them. So... having just acquired the WAS DST (to cover CHI's week 8 bye), I thought "WAS is facing CLE at home and should hold them to about 10 pts". Correct again (11). However, I should've listened to my partner (my 14YO son) who said "Yeah Dad, but MIN has about the worst special teams in the league. Look what Bush did to them."

I vetoed his vote though and went w/ WAS at 12:50 on Sunday. Though they certainly held CLE down better than CHI held MIN down, CHI scored 24 and WAS only 5. Ugh! :(

Fortunately, we lost by more than 19 anyway. (I guess that's "fortunate" in some parts of the world?) :D
