After visiting with the famed Dr. James Andrews, Byron Leftwich is expected to miss four-to-six weeks with a torn lateral collateral ligament in his left knee, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. The Jags are expected to make an official announcement either today or tomorrow.

I also heard there is a possibility he may be out the rest of the year. too bad, I was kind of pulling for him, he is a player.

I thought this would be the year he broke out. Sometimes it takes a little longer than expected.
