Nathan Noy - Where is Payment?
Nathan - I still haven't received payment from you. Is it too much to ask that you pay promptly?
You originally said payment was to be issued in January, then it was March 1st, and still nothing...I'm a patient guy, but let's go.

Sorry for the delay in giving the Gekko his due props for winning this thing (lots of traveling around the holidays here.) Yes, it may be weak that he used his last 10 picks to take both sides of five different games to lock this up, but we were not sharp enough to put something in the rules to prevent this (it WILL be there next year.) So good job on getting out to an early lead then exploiting the rules to clinch this thing (you know he would have gone at least 3 for 10 anyway and won.)
One final note, here is who paid:
Gekko ($50)
NNOY ($50)
Kevin Dukesherer ($50)
Richard Neigre ($100)
Scott Gunaca ($100)
Barto Enterprises, Inc. ($50)
This means that there is still one deadbeat among us. I believe it is KW3. Gekko has promised some nasty repercussions if this isn’t made right. So please contact me at [email protected] so I can give you Gordo’s address for prompt payment.
Here are the final standings:
Team Points Record Win Pct
Gekko 21 21--12 .636 (.697 in games he did not pick both sides)
Primo 19 19—14 .576
NNOY 18 17-14-2 .545
Big T 15.5 15-17-1 .470
Vegas G 15.5 15-17-1 .470
D Wood 15 15—16 (2 non-picks) .484
KJ Duke 15 15—18 .455
SG Ham 11.5 11-12-1 (9 non-picks) .479
KW3 10 10—13 (10 non-picks) .435
Thanks again for playing. We can do this again next year from week 1.

(6) This contest is winner take all. Nathan Noy - If I don't receive payment by the end of April, this issue will be escalated. I wish it didn't have to come to this, but YOU continue to delay payment and not respond to my e-mails.

Just an FYI for those that think I’m a complete deadbeat/scam artist:
(1) Gordo’s check will be mailed no later than tomorrow, I’ll be more than happy to post the tracking number for the package. And I hope he posts confirmation of receipt.
(2) For the last three weeks I was working a convention/on vacation. Not that this is an excuse for not taking care of Gordo sooner but you’d figure a guy that cashed in for $100,000 would not be stressing over a measly $400.

I'd just like my money, and I'll be done with you for good. Please post the tracking number on this thread. I will confirm payment once it's cleared.

Nathan Noy - Where is Payment?
From my standpoint, there was no reason to delay this payment since money was honestly given by NFFC members to a fellow NFFC member with the intent that once the season was completed that money would go to the winner. Nobody should have held $400 for 3+ months, so the finger should not be pointed toward the winner. As a result, I won't allow you to run this contest on the NFFC boards next year. Honesty is a two-way street and somewhere along the line someone didn't follow through. Enough said.

You can disagree with Greg about rules or whatever, but one thing everybody can count on....

Should be in the system any time now. Waited so I could send a money order instead of a check (that way this thread dies as soon as it arrives.)
