The Patriots pay $38M for Welker but wouldn't pay that to keep Deion Branch and now they are looking at Randy Moss? Don't know if Belichek is ready for this as his whole career he has sent the "I" people packing and Moss is definitely that.

I can think of quite a few who fall in the M-E category, Diesel, and they are still wondering why they aren't winning Super Bowls.

With the way Ladell Betts finished the
season does anyone else here believe that
Portis should be on the block?
Where is Michael Turner going? Have not heard
word one on his RFA status.
And, wouldn't McGahee be a nice fit for the Gints?
For 3rd year presidential terms where
the stock markets have been weak in early March,
these moves make sense. Cosmicly. Really.
Ask Susan Sarandon.

Huard is now pitted to be the starting QB for KC this year. The Trent Green is about to end. For health reasons, I hope Trent Green packs it up and retires with grace.

More than likely, Trent Green will be a Dolphin or Raider. Wouldn't that be some irony if he ended up with a 2-year deal with the Raiders? First Gannon, then Green.

A RB heaven when their O-Line was just about tops in the NFL...Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson...but never had the brains to shore up their DEF and WR spots to make a playoff run.
Huard did fair well, but he's no elite QB, so opposing teams can sit back and let LJ get his numbers...without worry...knowing the they will win the game.
It's a shame...I'd like to see that KC uniform in the playoffs again.

IMHO, the ONLY reason KC hasn't won a Championship is their lack of desire to win one. One solid WR on the Chiefs would have made the difference. No Chris Horn. No Dante Hall(at WR). No Boerighter. No Samie Parker. Just one solid WR, and there would have been a different outcome of the past decade of KC football.
While I'm rambling...
Daniel Graham is the highest tightend in football. How does this happen? I'm sure Gates gave him a call this past week and said "good job"...LOL...Yeah right. Graham wasn't even the best tightend on the Patriots, and now he's the highest paid TE in FOOTBALL? All good things come to an end, and this includes solid football in Denver. I'm predicting an implosion in Mile High in 2007. The management has already lit the fuse. tic. tic. tic...
Why not continue, since I'm on a roll...
Brad Johnson has stated to the media that he didn't sign with the Cowboys to be Tony Romo's backup. REALITY ALERT: Brad Johnson played his last game as a starter in week 8 when the Patriots beat him like a red-headed-stepchild(31-7). 239 Yards and 4 INT's for Brad on National Television. Good Luck with that mentality going into next yer Brad.
OKay, I'm done. For now.
