my vote for country and western guitarist would be roy clark. that guy could pick a guitar with anybody.

i really have a taste for alvin lee, snake. his clip from the woodstock documentary was incredible. i heard that they found another three and a half more minutes from that performance. i can't wait to see all 11 minutes. great thread snake.

i start on one video and the next thing i know one video has taken me to another and another. its great.

I agree...and in the past year have noticed the volume and quality of videos on YouTube get much bigger and better.

Before I'd search and get maybe 7 hits...now it might be 7 pages...amazing.

peter frampton. his work with humble pie was great. after that he has been nothing.
ronnie montrose. he should have made it.
ray davies.
dick wagner rumor is, is that he had to fill in on aerosmiths first album because joe perry couldn't quite get it.

i've heard that rumor over the radio from one of the dj's in detroit. dick being from michigan might have something to do with it.
