Upcoming Diesel Pools

Hey Marc -- do I see inflation at work here? Weren't the Super Bowl boxes $100 last year? My wife is really going to shoot me if I play more than one box at these levels....

Of course by the time that Uncle Obama is done with things you'll be charging $5,000 per box and the winner of the pool will have enough $ to buy himself breakfast at Denny's..

Yes, it was lower last year. Some of you NUTS were asking for $500 per box!

$150 is my limit for any pool...Obama, nor anyone else, will ever make me go higher than that. Promise. After Obama hits us with these new tax increases, I am pretty sure I will do a $50 superbowl pool next year. Serious.

But for now, I've just around 36 boxes left and the playoffs didn't even start!

Marc, you can pretty much count me in if you ever do decide to run a $500 or better Super Bowl box.

I guess for now though, I'll just have to settle for a 4-pack of your $150 boxes if they're still available. Put me down for a pair of $151 run pool teams as well, but please don't give me the powerhouse combo of San Diego and the 1962 Mets you may as well have stuck me with last season.

Frank, I was on the phone with you when Bradshaw didn't just kneel on that damn ball. Sorry bro. I feel you. I really do. Just ask Stephen Jupinka about my hard breaks in the superbowl. I lost the $10,000 NFFC Post Season contest the LAST time the Giants beat the Pats, when Jacobs got a first down on 4th and 2, and then Plaxico caught a TD to win the game for the Giants. That TD cost me $10,000 and I've never really been the same kind of Giants fan again because of it. Jupinka was my partner in that one.

Glenn, I sent you an email. Thanks for joining again! And sorry about who you got in the 13 run pool last year, but man, I don't think I had much of a chance all year either. Let's hope for better teams this year for us!
