Re: LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!
Pre-Season NFL football games are the biggest rip-off in all of sports, Season ticket holders must pay full price for these games or else give up their season tickets, Its a catch 22............ You don't want the Pre-Season games, fine you lose your coveted season tickets, to me the NFL is just showing how GREEDY they are, eventually when push comes to shove something is gonna have to give, especially when I can pay $200 and watch EVERY NFL GAME on the NFL Sunday Ticket.......Don't get me wrong being at an LIVE NFL GAME is great, you know what else is great? Being in my man cave in front of my wall of TV's and watching 6 games at once, and being able to go to the bathroom at ANY time, cheap drinks and food, Its not cold or snowing in my man cave, there are no sloppy, crazy drunks wanting to fight me or spilling stuff on me and my family........ NFL games are great, nothing beats a great Tailgate party.........sometimes I even go and Tailgate at the stadium, but I make sure to ask the parking attendant that I will definitely be able to leave at 12:30 so I can go home and watch ALL the games in comfort, unless its a playoff, championship, or Super Bowl I could care less about sitting in an NFL stadium during what really is a meaningless November regular season game, with the popularity of Fantasy Football at an all time high, I'll sit at home and watch my 6 TV's, Fantasy Football wise there is nothing better, unless I had a wall with 9 TV's on it, now we're getting crazy. Ask yourself this question, Do you really have to go to EVERY meaningless regular season game, yes it is fun, but I would pick and choose my spots, I go on the road, I travel to a couple Bills or Sabres road games every year, way more fun.

Signs you know it's the preseason:
Shonn Greene and LaGarrette Blount have been the two most impressive RBs so far.

I just don't get all the hate on Blount. Just because he popped a guy in the face in college? As for on-field assessments, when you give him the ball........he produces. He's got good vision, good footwork, and tries to get the most out of every play when given the rock.
I get that his work-ethic practice-wise is bad as well. But, man, I've never seen a guy get so much hate.
As for Givens, Tom, I'm with ya there! He's on both my NFFC teams so far. Let others overpay for Tavon. I've been happy to get Givens two rounds later

Victor Cruz looks like he's ready to start the season now.
Bummer that Bell didn't play for the Steelers. I'm anxious to see him play. Same with Lacy in Green Bay. I want to see both of those guys in live action. The Packers' RBs looked rather dismal against the Cardinals. Lacy looks to be on a different level talent-wise so they need him in the backfield.

Somewhere Romeo Crennel is puzzled by the desire to get the ball in the hands of Charles a lot. This clearly is not how it should be done, he's thinking.David U Kennedy wrote:Charles a goal line carrier???????????

Chan Gailey is doing the same thing. Awsome at outsmarting themselves. Reid and Marrone know just get the ball in your best players hands. Pretty simple these things are

Steven Jackson, Shady McCoy, Trent Richardson and Matt Forte all looked good last night. If Forte starts getting goal-line looks his value could rise even more.
Brandon Weeden and the Browns are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
Vick is clearly the superior option for the Eagles at QB. Time for Chip Kelly to name him the starter.
Antonio Gates sure looks spry in August.

Hey Tom, Forte looked real good last night and with all the balls he going to catch in Trestmans offense do you think that by draft day hes a first rounder in most drafts ? personally I'm suprised that he isin't already a first round lock.
