Start/Sit of the YEAR!

OK. Here we go. Needing a big game from the QB, who do you start:

Tom Brady vs Denver D - Brady has limited receivers and Denver D is the best, but Brady always seems to find a way
OR
Jameis Winston vs Indy Colts D - Winston had career game last week and now faces the 29th ranked pass defense

I think you gotta go Brady.

The question comes down to this......can you live with yourself on Monday morning if you start Winston, Brady outscores him, and it costs you a win?

Another factor. Snow in Denver Sunday night. I think I will see still start Brady. Maybe I am crazy.

Looks like you are doing everything you can to talk yourself out of Brady. What I have learned about him is this.....when you feel like he has no one to throw to, someone magically appears and he has a 250/3 game with a QB sneak to boot.

I understand your logic completely, but not starting your stud and them going off is A LOT more painful than not playing the backup, and they go off IMO.

I keep thinking the same stupid thing. I have Brady and Carr. A win locks in $500. I even go as far to think I might pull Stevie Johnson at flex and put in Keshawn Martin and just be all in. Late game and opponent will be done except for Gostkowski. Makes every drop back more fun, or not. Good luck, I am rolling with Brady.

I have the same debate going with Brady and Bortles. As of this moment, I'm leaning towards Bortles.

Also have Gronk on that same team, so at least I'm partially hedged.

Good luck making the right call!

I am spared the agony by having rostered Tannehill to accompany Brady. Doh! Tom K told me to do it.

My issue is, can I trust Winston will throw for at least couple of TDs and 200+ Yards against Indy in what could be a close game or chasing from behind? I will take 22+ points, knowing that even if Brady has a decent game, he wont have a huge game. I am starting to hedge towards Winston. Carr is a tough choice. Tennessee has a pretty decent pass defense and I see Oakland in a big lead running the ball.

Its the perfect scenario to NOT play Brady. That's what is so scary. I admit, I am a Brady hater. I drafted him only because my son was at the draft and said he wanted me to draft him. I am happy I did, since it has been a good year thus far... but if I don't play him this week, it will be so much easier to hope he stinks up Denver. :D
