The way guys are slamming the WRs you would think there was a blue light special on them.2 teams started with 5 in a row.

Exactly. You're in a draft where QBs got pushed down; I'm not. In mine, QBs went at 4.10, 4.11, 5.1, 5.3, 5.8 (Brees), 5.10, 5.11, 6.1. It's all about context; in my draft, Brees didn't go "early" in relation to when QBs were being drafted.

True. Makes for some nice values elsewhere.

Is it though? In DC7, 30 of the first 48 picks were WRs, with 14 RBs and 2 each of QB/TE. Two teams took the contrarian approach and only took one WR in the first 5 rounds. In a league where we start 3 WRs and can flex another, their first two through 8 rounds are Hopkins/Crabtree and Hilton/KWhite. While those could work out, they may scramble for weekly WR3/flex production, especially once the byes start.

Maybe it's not so insane to follow the herd when you look at the RB value available in rounds 5-9 - and if you don't wanna be stuck with their WR scraps?

Some great RB value in the later rounds. You can get starting backs in round 8 and later. It's definitely a different kinda year.

How is this for a contrarian approach?

A. Brown, Charles, Reed, Rodgers, Hyde, D. Lewis, D. Jackson, V. Jackson.
