While I agree 100% with having a 13 week regular season (as opposed to 11), and not having a title game to determine who wins each league, I could see some issues of "who plays who" those 2 extra weeks.

There are already people who don't like a pre-determined schedule for a 14 team league, so when team A plays two tough teams in weeks 12 and 13, and team B plays two cupcakes in weeks 12 and 13, I think it could be an issue.

If their truly is a random way to make a schedule (meaning each league is different), then it may work. However, I'm afraid even if it is random, someone will either figure out some pattern, and their no doubt will be plenty of bitching when things don't go right.

Week 12 and 13 all play with top 6 getting W, and bottom 6 getting L.

How many would quit 14 team leagues?

You still have the H2H through 11 weeks, and the last 2 it is all about the points.

More importantly, no one could complain, they played a harder team, or easier team.

Is there a chance to run a 12 team format as a points league (no H2H)? We could have a 13 week reular season competition without H2H concerns.

As much as H2H can frustrate me at times, it is a needed necessity of a high stakes contest of this magnitude.

Without it, 1/2 the teams would be giving up by Week 6. That would also affect teams picking up players on the WW, which would help some leagues more than others, etc.
