DC LEAGUES for 2018.

Post by got heeem » Mon Dec 25, 2017 8:09 am

Please could you change all DC Leagues to 35 players.30 is not enough in the $25/$50 leagues.I knew this was a flaw from the start, but when I brought it up on here you blew it off and said this is the way it is for this year.Well after doing 70+ DC Drafts this year,so I got a pretty good sample of drafts.30 doesn't cut it.It means that every spot you got 1 less player and with all the injuries to QB/TE this year it wasn't enough guys. One thing I did like that you don't have for baseball was the status of all drafts on the home page.It was helpful when you could see where all your drafts were at the same time.THANKS AND HAVE A NICE X-MAS. I generally agree. Imagine playing the mfl10s-100s which are 20 roster spots!

I don't think we blew anything off. The goal with these $25 and $50 leagues were quick, deep drafts. Most of these drafts were done every night, not of the 8-hour variety and they did finish quickly. We knew that the MFL10's were 20-round drafts and felt these were much deeper, but we didn't want to just duplicate what we had in our Draft Champions National Championship.

We will have more news on the 2018 season soon, but again I don't think we'll just duplicate the rules we have in the $150 DCs. We'll discuss soon.

And yes that is a nice feature we had for the NFFC drafts. We will be adding that to baseball as well and have it for 2018 NFFC, too. Thanks.

I'm not complaining because I don't like the game, I just think all DC Drafts would benefit from 35 players.

This would be a league where it would be all LUCK. I looked at the rules for that game, but ran when I saw the 20 player roster.Any injuries and your done.

I actually prefer the 30 round drafts. The others just drag out too long and it's probably not great for the casual players. There are only so many hard core guys who want to go that deep each draft. Don't get me wrong. I do like 35 rounds but I typically load up and auto pick the last few rounds as they tend to drag out so long. Plus on slow drafts I only do 2 at a time. So if the last 5 rounds take 3 days then I could be drafting a lot more often.

Totally agree, I think 30 is plenty. Remember the day of 14 team, 26 round DC's? Apparently, nobody got injured.

back then they didn't rush a guy into the blue tent every time he gets a hard hit.

Agree here, too. I've had plenty of conversations about this. Maybe we're to the point we have to go deeper.

Let's make it simple, 16 team draft, 12 rounds. draft everything by committee. Non-DC league, you set your weekly lineup from your player pool. The first 6 rounds, you have to have one from each position, after that, anything goes.

8-) :? :o
