Chad Schroeder Wins NFFC Primetime & $150,000

NFFC Hall of Famer Chad Schroeder of Omaha, Nebraska won the 2018 NFFC Primetime and the $150,000 grand prize. Chad becomes our first two-time national champion in the NFFC Primetime as he also won this contest in 2010 when the grand prize was $50,000. He's the first owner to win any of our NFFC national contests twice.

Chad entered this season as our Career Earnings Leader with $782,400, but this title along with several other titles this year will jump that total to over $1 million in football alone. He's also 2nd in Career Earnings in baseball after having won the NFBC Primetime and the Online Championship in past seasons. He's won $529,225 in baseball despite not playing the last two seasons.

Chad not only won this year's NFFC Primetime but he had the second place team as well, netting another $25,000. We paid the Top 13 finishers in the NFFC Primetime Championship Round this year.

Chad's winning team was drafted Online on Sunday, Sept. 2nd at 8 pm ET. That was after he had drafted an NFFC 14-Team Ultimate League team and an NFFC 12-Team Super League team. He drafted from the 11th spot in this one and finished second in the league, going 11-2 and finishing behind overall points leader Stephen Stith in record and points to earn $3,000. But this team was so good that it was 4th in points heading into the Championship Round. It moved into 3rd place after Week 14 when it scored 174.35 points (10th best) and it jumped into 2nd place through Week 15 with another solid week of 159.85 points (11th best). Cocktails & Dreams did just enough in Week 16 (174.85 points, 16th best) to jump ahead of Paul Felker for the top spot, edging his Sept. 7th team by 5.30 points for the title. Neil Hassett Jr. finished 3rd to win $10,000.

Chad was led by Patrick Mahomes, Christian McCaffery, Julio Jones, T.Y. Hilton and Julian Edelman.
