Las Vegas Plans For The 2022 NFFC Live Events
Welcome to our 19th season of the NFFC live events, which include our 19th straight season of hosting live events in Las Vegas.
During that time we have hosted live NFFC events at the Rio, at the Stardust, at the Flamingo and at the Bellagio. We've even had to have one-day trips from the Excalibur to Palace Station during 2005 and a few years ago we had to host one day at the Aria. But for the most part, we've been fortunate to host the vast majority of our NFFC live events at the Bellagio since 2011 and we've loved every minute of it.
We will be back at the Bellagio for the First Weekend of live events this year on Friday-Saturday, Sept. 2-3. There is a HUGE convention at the Bellagio that entire week, but we have been able to secure Gauguin Ballrooms 1 and 2 for those two days. These are the same ballrooms we had on the First Weekend last year at the Bellagio and it's located near the Business Center and next to the Monet Ballrooms.
I've also been able to secure the Spa Tower Executive Penthouse suites for Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 7-8. We will host a special Wednesday night NFFC Primetime League in one of those suites and I've actually kept that date open for a second league. I've secured both Executive Penthouse suites in the Spa Tower -- the one with the boardroom table and the other one with the pool table -- which gives us room for two Primetime leagues on Wednesday night and more space for Thursday's activities.
Having those two suites will allow us to host the 14-Team and 12-Team Kickoff Gridiron Leagues on Thursday, and allows us room for a second 12-Team Kickoff Gridiron League that night if the interest is there. It also allows us more room to watch the Thursday Night NFL game. We love those suites and we will have two of them for Wednesday and Thursday.
Now for the bad news: The Bellagio Convention Center is completely full the week of Sept. 5-11, so Second Weekend live events will have to be held at a nearby hotel and not at the Bellagio.
We have a tentative deal in place with Park MGM, which is where we hosted the NFBC live events in 2019 and they are offering us a pretty good room block deal. I'm still working through this deal and hope to have something to announce officially in the next week, but it's possible that we will have all of the Griffith ballrooms on the second floor of the Park MGM Convention Center and a room block available for Wednesday through Sunday at Park MGM. I'm also talking with Aria, so let me work through these negotiations first and then we'll have a final location soon.
But if you haven't booked your rooms yet for Second Weekend, hold on and hopefully we'll have a pretty good option for you. Las Vegas hotel room rates are extremely high for Labor Day weekend and the weekend of Sept. 8-11, so we'll do what we can with an affordable room block on the Second Weekend.
So just to summarize:
NFFC Sept. 2-3 at the Bellagio
NFFC Wednesday night Primetime and Thursday Kickoff Gridirons Sept. 7-8 in the Spa Tower Executive Penthouse Suite at the Bellagio
NFFC Sept. 8-10 Second Weekend live events all at Park MGM (for now)
With the economy picking up, it's getting tougher to secure good Convention Center space in Las Vegas, but thankfully we have a great relationship with MGM and we'll have excellent space both weekends. Stay tuned and I'll finalize these plans shortly. Thanks all and I can't wait to host the live events in Las Vegas for a 19th straight football season.

Park MGM is awesome. Stayed there in January and will be back in September. Italian Eataly is delicious.

In the last year, Park MGM has become a smokeless hotel/casino as well.

Those Thursday events will all be at Park MGM or Aria (still working on a contract). However, the Kickoff Gridiron Leagues and the Thursday Night Viewing Party will be at the Bellagio Spa Tower suites. But yes, Super Auction and Primetimes will be at Park MGM or Aria.
Everything on Friday and Saturday will also be at Park MGM or Bellagio. We'll have a room block password this week for anyone who wants to stay at the main host hotel.

We are officially at Park MGM for Las Vegas Second Weekend, Sept. 8-10. More details to come soon along with a room block, but the contract is signed and we'll host all events Sept. 8-10 except for the Kickoff Gridiron Leagues and the Thursday Night Viewing Party at Park MGM.
Hold off on booking rooms until we can post our room block code. They are working on that now. Thanks all and see ya in 4+ months.

Re: Las Vegas Plans For The 2022 NFFC Live Events
If there's one thing we don't do a good enough job of, it's showcasing what our live events look like after they're done. We are so busy just RUNNING these live events that we don't take the time to show video or photographs of what these live events look like.
I've actually taken a lot of photos of past NFBC and NFFC live events, but they either remain on my phone or in the old days on a roll of film back at the office. It's time to highlight our players and our past live events with a photo page.
We did create one a few years ago and I just recently added a few more photos from past years on this Live Events page. You can check it out here:
https://nfc.shgn.com/liveevents/football
I'll keep going through the archives and add more photos as I find them, and this year we'll see if we can do a little video at the live events and add that to this page. Should be fun. Enjoy the Live Events page and I look forward to seeing everyone in New York City and Las Vegas this September.

GRIDIRON LEAGUE
Greg, one change for the leagues this year - not sure the best place to post this maybe you can blast an email for signees too ...
• Starting this year the private pool in Vegas to be paid in cash checks or chips only (no PP/Ven).
• Payouts will be at season-end via check rather than weekly by PP/Ven.
DM me with any comments/questions.
thx, KJ

I think that's a fantastic idea since this government wants to tax everything they can get their hands on. No need for that. 100% with you KJ
