This was the first high-stakes private league we ever held in the NFFC as it was first formed in 2005, our second season of the NFFC. We didn't even mess around with a $2,500 price point; we went right to $5,000. It has been a tough league to fill each year, but we have filled it every year except the Covid year of 2020 and I think we can fill it again.

This is a fun, but tough contest. We have a 14-week regular season and we pay $5,000 to the regular season h2h champion and $5,000 to the regular season points leader. One team can certainly win both prizes, but whichever team or teams win those regular season titles will advance to the money round of Week 17.

Six teams advance to the Championship Round in Week 15 with the lowest scoring team that week (excluding the two team winners from the regular season) being eliminated from the competition. The lowest scoring team in Week 16 also is eliminated, leaving four teams to battle for the top prize of $34,000 in Week 17. So if you have the perfect season, you could turn $5,000 into $44,000.

It's a great format, but not an easy one for the faint of heart. Fourteen team leagues are tough enough and this one carries a special element of toughness in the Championship Round. Here's the Contest link and signup link:
