23 Owners Have Won NFFC Primetime H2H League Titles After Week 13

This just might be the most competitive season of our 20-year history in the NFFC. In the NFFC Primetime, only 23 of 90 leagues (26%) have their h2h titles decided with one week to play. In other words, 67 leagues still are battling for the h2h titles in the NFFC Primetime.

However, that was way up from last week when only 7 of 90 leagues had h2h titles with two weeks to go. Sixteen different owners grabbed h2h league titles during Week 13.

Here's the crazy numbers from the first 13 weeks of the 2023 NFFC Primetime season:

* 67 leagues still have the h2h title up for grabs
* 29 of those 90 leagues have ties for first place
* one league has 5 teams tied for 1st place, while four other leagues have 4 teams tied for first place
* 48 of the 90 leagues have the h2h champion also as the points leader. If those leagues ended today, 48 of the 90 leagues (53.33%) would have a league champion already winning the $7,000 league prize
* Another 16 of the h2h leaders are 2nd in points. Other h2h leaders and where they rank in the league in points include: 3rd (81), 4th (7), 5th (7), 6th (7), 7th (2) and 8th (1).
* A total of 19 leagues have two teams tied for first place in h2h records. Five leagues have three teams tied for 1st; four leagues have four leagues tied for first and one league has five teams tied for first.

These leagues are crazy close, but the top scoring teams are also doing well in h2h matchups. Remember that if one team has the best h2h record and most points after Week 14 they win the $7,000 league prize. If two teams split the h2h prize and the total points prize, they will each earn $3,400 and compete in Weeks 15-17 for the league title and the remaining $3,600 league prize.

The Top 3 teams in each league advance to the Championship Round for a shot at the $250,000 grand prize.

Winning h2h league titles already and the $3,400 league prize include Mike Santos, Mike Kuzma, Rod Lurie, Chad Schroeder (three times), Jeremy Jurewicz, Danny Bronski, Robert Delaney, Brett LaBar, Chris Vaccaro, Henry Muto, John D'Izzia, Thomas Libretti, Bob Catsiroumpas, Oliver Dawoud, Joey Brown, Danny Mueller, William Hare, Gregory Blaszcynski (twice), Kyle Hillesheim and Jon Clift. Twelve of them also lead their league in points.

The NFFC Classic Championship had six leagues and 84 teams competing this year. Through Week 13, we still have a mixed bag of results as you can see below:

* Only 1 league has already decided its h2h champion and that is Dave Cushard in the Thursday Las Vegas Classic League.
* Three of the six h2h league leaders are also leading in points.
* Two of the six leagues also have ties at the top for best h2h record; both are two-way ties.
