Peter Christensen Wins 2023 NFFC Post-Season & $150,000

Peter Christensen of Denver, Colorado won the 2024 NFFC Post-Season Contest and the $150,000 grand prize as he defeated a field of 1,521 teams. Peter led this competition from Round 2 to the finish line as he rode the combination of Christian McCaffrey and Isiah Pacheco at 4x along with Deebo Samuel and the Chiefs' kicker at 3x to win the title with 1,472.05 points. He won this title despite having Patrick Mahomes at only 1x and Brock Purdy at only 2x. Usually you need to get the Quarterbacks with the multipliers to win the title, but Peter proved that theory wrong in 2024.

Team Christensen finished 7.0 points ahead of Robby Schumacher for the top prize with Paul Miller, Justin Kueber and James Jones rounding out the Top 5. This contest paid the Top 54 teams overall.

We will wait for any scoring changes from Elias Sports today and tomorrow before finalizing the prizes on Wednesday morning. Look for these prizes on your Player Accounts by Wednesday morning once the stats have been finalized by Elias.

Peter has competed mainly in the NFBC since 2017 and this $200 Post-Season Contest entry was his only football entry in the NFFC all season. In fact, he took only one team in this contest as he became the third straight winner of this contest with only one entry. Neal Compton won last year's $150,000 grand prize with only one entry and Joshua Dombroski did the same thing in 2022 enroute to winning that $125,000 grand prize.

Peter was 95th out of 1,521 entries after Round 1 as he 207.25 points with Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen as his Quarterbacks. Pacheco and McCaffrey were his first round targets from Kansas City and San Francisco. Team Christensen then jumped into the lead after Round 2 with a 448.60 point week led by Jackson, Allen, McCaffrey and Mike Evans. He then had a 6.85 point lead over Robby Schumacher through Round 3 as his team scored 457.35 points with the two teams having similar lineups heading into the Super Bowl. Team Christensen then scored 358.85 points in Round 4 to hang onto the title and the $150,000 grand prize.

Peter had six players with multipliers in the final round with McCaffrey scoring 116 points, Pacheco 56.8 and the Chiefs' Kicker adding 47.10 points. Mahomes scored 33.25 points at 1x for Christensen, but even teams that had him at 3x or 4x couldn't pass him for the title. That's rare in this contest, but it can happen. Congrats Peter on a fantastic win.
