Will KDS Work In 2007?

1- King, you've made me look into Dictionary.com more times than any other NFFC participant. Thanks for increasing my vocabulary over the last 4 years...lol

2- I wouldn't agree that I am a shill, only because I have answered questions many many times for people who have no intentions on joining any event that would get me a referal fee.

So I do, on occasion, make referal money from my private messages and helping others with answers to their questions on rules and strategies. But my main goal is to increase the NFFC so that my hobby remains intact, with the organization I trust the most in this industry.

I'm kind of like that guy on the Wendy's commercial, when he says he's the unofficial spokesman for Wendy's....lol

Or maybe I'm like a guy who will tell you every rule and strategy you can possibly ponder for fantasy football, and when asked if I'm an expert, I may say, "No, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night".

As you know I like the 3RR/KDS format.
One of the major reason I joined.

Another was when looking to join another High Stakes League, this one statement made me look at NFFC alittle closer.
'"WCOFF... SHMYCOFF! REAL men play the NFFC!".
Please but this back in your Sig. BillyWaz. :D

Guys like Marc 'Diesel' and Rob 'Ted's Cracked Head' have been nothing but helpful.
Great bunch of guys and I hope I will only add to this group.

Greg I would tell you just don't read the WCOFF message boards. But I guess you have to, to see what's being said right and wrong. Don't take it that I'm reading the WCOFF boards and upset with anything they say about the NFFC. It's cool to have participants stick up for one contest over another. I just want people to know the facts about 3RR/KDS and that it wasn't a knee-jerk reaction to LT's big season. If you actually talk to most folks about 3RR, they inevitably say it makes sense for this 14-team format.

Here's another reason why I instituted KDS/3RR: I'm a fantasy player myself (as is Tom) and in football drafts I want the No. 1 pick each time too. Hell, I'm in a CBS Sportsline.com industry draft right now and I have the 12th pick. What was my reaction to getting the last pick in the draft? You can imagine. I wish I had any spot than 12, but obviously I'll draft the best I can and try to win this league. I think I can win this league, but it won't be easy. Oh, and I wish I had a different spot without 3RR.

Now we're through 2 rounds and using 1-point per reception and six points for all touchdowns plus yardage bonus points, I'm starting off with Reggie Bush and Rudy Johnson. Not a bad start, but I still wish I had the first pick. Or better yet, I wish I had 3RR to add a stud WR to these two backs. Now that would be GREAT!!!

Again, we're fantasy players too and we think 3RR makes sense for the players and the competition. It's not Fantasy Football Socialism as some like to call it. It's making the platform more fair and it's not so complicated that folks will struggle with the concept.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to prepare for picks 3 and 4.

"I'm watching you, Wazowski. Always watching. Always" :D Lance, you know my kids love Monsters Inc and I've seen that flick about 100 times so far, so thanks for the comparison. Not a pretty comparison, mind you, but an accurate one in this example! :D

Not much gets by me, if that's what you mean!!

Now for the more important question on this thread: When the hell is Pixar going to make a Monsters Inc II? :D Forget about French rats that cook, I want the Monsters back!! :D

Oh here goes...

my numbers and gut feeling actually think 3RR doesn't go far enough. A huge step in the right direction, but not far enough.

I'd like to see a league where the 1st round goes 1->X and EVERY round after goes X->1. I'll bet 1st pick overall would no longer be the consensus top choice!

Nice footnote...

Could you post the NFFC schedule from week to week...that could have a nice impact on KDS!!!

(Adds value to the team playing LT week 7)

Example...

In WCOFF...the team picking #11 plays "Team 1" week 7...San Diego's bye week.

If WCOFF offered KDS...I'm sure if people knew that...pick #11 would gain in KDS preference.

So, seriously, how do we see what the Main Event schedule will look like? I'd like to factor this into my KDS as well.
2008- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic.
2009- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic or Primetime.
