I'm glad to welcome back another die-hard member of the NFFC family as Harold Goodman of Tarzana, California has agreed to return to the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 3rd for the NFFC's main event. Harold has competed in all of our baseball and football events to date and becomes our 68th returning member from 2004. Harold's Papa Needs New Shoes team finished 7-6 in Las Vegas League 6 last year, finishing 142nd overall with 1,536.75 points. Harold is ready for a money finish this year, although right now he's knee deep in baseball stats as his NFBC team is contending for a league title. Thanks once again for your trust and support, Harold, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. See ya in Las Vegas.

Let's give it up for our 69th returning member from 2004 as the tag team of Michael Ambicki and John Yessalovich of Middlesex, New Jersey will be returning on Saturday, Sept. 3rd for the NFFC's main event. The duo led the Appleman team to a second place finish in New York League 1, finishing with a 6-7 record and 1,699.5 points. That was good for 51st overall and they finished 31st in the Championship Round with 464.24 points. Michael and John are tentatively signed up to return to New York, but with any luck (and their wives' permission) they will be joining us in Las Vegas. Thanks for your trust and support once again guys and congrats on a great 2004 season. Oh, and best of luck once again in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Let's give it up for yet another new member of the growing NFFC family as Howard Price of Staten Island, New York has agreed to compete in the NFFC's main event on Saturday, Sept. 3rd at the New York Hilton. Howard is new to our family of high-stakes events as he was referred to us by the guys at FantasyJungle.com and liked what he saw. He was leaning towards a trip to Las Vegas, but will instead stay close to home this year. Thanks for your trust and support, Howard, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?

One of only a handful of die-hard fantasy enthusiasts who has done EVERY single event we've ever offered is returning (of course) for football. Let's give it up for Eddie Gillis of Jamestown, Rhode Island, who will be returning to the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 3rd for the NFFC's main event. Eddie has competed in everything we've offered -- from $650 auction leagues to the $5,000 NFBC Ultimate League -- and he definitely wanted to secure his spot in the main event now and he will likely enter the auction league and Draft Champions League later. Eddie's Black Sabbath team finished 9-4 in New York League 3 last year, one of four teams to finish tied for first at 9-4. He missed out on a money finish and a spot in the Championship Round as his 1,646.95 points were good for fourth place in NY 3 and 77th overall. Black Sabbath then finished 41st in the Consolation Round with 543.54 points. Eddie, who had the other competitors in stitches after he fell off his chair during the auction league after a surprisingly high bid, vows to finish in the money this year. We're glad to have you back again, Eddie, and wish you the best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. Just let me know if you want to add any of the other contests when you're ready and keep bringing in your buddies to our events. Your referrals are always welcome.

William and Joe are new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome them with open arms. We now have 27 signups for the main event in New York and 93 overall. Keep 'em coming and let's fill this up. Thanks for your trust and support, guys, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. First beers are on us!!!

I'm glad to welcome another new member to the growing NFFC family, although this one is familiar to us from the baseball side. Let's give it up for Jeff Rackliffe of Mableton, Georgia, who will be joining us at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Friday, Sept. 2nd for the Draft Champions League. Jeff has competed in our National Fantasy Baseball Championship the last two years and he tested the NFFC waters last year in the Mid-Season B League, but this is his first full venture in the NFFC live draft. Jeff becomes the 10th signup for the Draft Champions League in Las Vegas, leaving us with four open spots there. Thanks for your trust and support once again, Jeff, and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,250 first place prize.
