948 Teams In The Online Championship: $60,000 Grand Prize

Yikes. I took my eye off this one while we were running live events, but we're already over 815 teams for the Online Championship League, which means we have 68 leagues and will easily top 70 leagues. If we can get to 900 teams that will likely mean a $60,000 grand prize. WOW. Nice increase from last year's event.

I'll try to update this thread again tomorrow, but spots are limited and leagues are limited as well. Wednesday and Thursday are the best dates to jump into this contest now. Thanks all.

We just filled our 75th Online Championship League this morning, giving us 900 teams overall. WOW!!! That's an awesome increase from the 720 teams last year and gives us our biggest grand prize ever in this format. We're excited and next year I think we'll be able to open up with an even bigger guaranteed grand prize.

I'll create the new prize grid once everything settles down, but we can definitely announce the $60,000 grand prize and leave it there. We have a shot at two more leagues if all goes well this afternoon, but either way we'll keep the top prize at $60,000 and adjust the 2nd through 20th places after that. We will pay more teams in the overall contest with the additional teams and pay more to those after first place overall. League prizes remain the same. We added two more Online Championship Leagues this afternoon and now have 77 full leagues. I have closed off all offerings except for Thursday, Sept. 8th at 1 pm EST. That's the last option available. Thanks all. We have 10 spots left for that one. Jump in if you need a fix before the Saints-Packers game!!!
