I see that Peyton Manning is dropping in drafts. How much will missing the preseason hurt him. At what point does he become a value pickup if he continues to drop.

To answer some of these:
1. I haven't heard an update about Britt but the last I heard it appeared he would get a suspension of some kind. I don't trust him even if he avoids a suspension.
2. I'm skittish of MJD. I'd consider him early in the second but given the nature of the injury he's not someone I feel very good about.
3. I expect Peyton to be ready for the start of the season but I am concerned the Colts now plan to carry three QBs to open the year. They never do that. It's hard to bet against Peyton. He's about the safest pick in all of fantasy football, but I wonder if some cracks are starting to show up. I wouldn't take him ahead of Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Rivers or Vick and I might take Romo ahead of him too.

What the heck is the story with the Bears WR's?
It seems as if they have given up on all of them. Now, some rookie named Schottenheimer or something is gonna move Bennett out. SO Roystiff Williams, Hester and SHotzenhiemer?
What a mess

What a mess Agreed Joe. Is this the year that Martz is too smart for his own good in Chicago and they go back to three yards and a cloud of Soldier Field dust? I can see Martz imploding this season if his wideouts don't perform like he expects. It should be interesting in Chicago this year.

What a mess Yup. I have no idea what Martz is doing there. I'm avoiding all of them right now. I still think Knox is their best WR but he's buried on the depth chart. I don't like Williams and Hester isn't a WR. Yeah, that's a big mess.

I like both of those guys a lot and would be very happy with either one. Chances are I won't get Andre because I have him 8th on my board and he's typically going Top 6. I'd be very happy to get Megatron if I was picking in the latter part of the first round.

If that's your franchise foundation Jeff, then it's gotta be something like 6,7,8. AJ could go Top 6 (maybe even Top 5) and Calvin could soon follow. And by the way, I'm seeing a lot of these middle draft spots being the first choice of many owners in recent online drafts.

Just reading the Wcoff message board. Glenneration x makes it sound like the deal with Emil and Ian has fallen through. He states,
"We're not necessarily at that point yet. From what I understand there will be efforts made to revisit a prior option. Hopefully there will be enough time and enough support to make it work. It isn't for me to say if there will be."
Wow, that sucks. I really felt like the Wcoff was going to pull through. I was even trying to figure out how to come up with enough cash to play the Wcoff this year once I saw the new business plan.
I know this isn't football but I sure hope he is wrong and the deal goes through. It seems like it is the only way most of the players are going to get paid.
Maybe this is why we havn't seen any new announcement.
