2007 NFFC Satellite League Signup List

Post by RiFF » Mon Jun 04, 2007 4:04 am

Greg/Tom... There are a number of $100. Satellite Leagues with a Winner Take All prize structure; with the prize being a free entry into the 2008 Main Event. All the DC Satellites seem to be a "typical" 3 tier payout structure. Would you consider adding a $100. DC Satellite with a Winner Take All prize structure with the winner getting a free entry into a 2008 $1300. DC League in one of the 4 cities. Anyone else interested in this type DC Satellite?

Sorry if this question has been asked already, but are the satellite leagues using the 3 RR ? Or do they just use the traditional snake format?

Thanks.

All Satellite Leagues will also use 3RR. All NFFC draft events going forward will use 3RR. Don't be afraid to try out the new format in MANY Satellite Leagues before the main event! ;)

14-1 in Round 2
14-1 in Round 3
1-14 in Round 4 and continuing serpentine after that: 14-1, 1-14, etc.

We have decided that with a larger 14-team league format that switching the order of the third round balances out the talent pool a little more. It no longer allows that top owner with the top back to also get the top player in the third round. 3RR has the potential to give the teams drafting at the bottom a little better talent, while balancing out the talent throughout the league. This is our first year with 3RR.

Thanks. It's good to see that 3RR is being implemented throughout the entire NFFC, and not just used in the main event. If you're going to do something, do it all the way. And that's what you guys are doing.
