I agree SNAKE. How can you not be in the playoffs if you have Brady. The guy is averaging close to 40 fantasy points a game.

This is sickening. Fourth and goal from the 2 twice, up by 42, and they go for it twice. I hope Brady breaks a leg.................

As a Raider fan, I have held a grudge for most of my life against the Steelers ever since the immaculate reception with the tuck rule coming in a close second. Not any more. I now loathe the Patriots as a team, Brady, Moss and that hooded monster for reasons I cannot even put into words.

It would be fitting for the Browns to roll into Foxboro in January and ruin their perfect season. That is what I want for Xmas!

A Browns vs Packers SB!

A Browns vs Packers SB! Anyone but the Patriots would be fine with fine me. Even though I'm a Bears fan I wouldn't mind seeing Favre get a chance at winning another Super Bowl.

The problem with the Patriots (in terms of Fantasy) is that there is an agenda here that goes far beyond winning football games. It involves destroying (humiliating?) opponents.

Now...is there anything wrong with that? Not really, except it makes them (almost) universally hated. Do they care? No. Should they? Not really.

But the effect on Fantasy is a gross distortion of stats. It's one thing if Romo throws 4 TD passes during a close 28-23 victory over the Redskins. It's quite another when Brady throws 5 TD passes in complete routs after multiple fourth down conversions. Again, I'm not saying there's anything technically wrong with it, but it creates this situation where if you own Brady you're (?artificially inflated) miles ahead of your competition in a "reverse garbage time" running up of the score. At least with LT last year, and with Manning during his 49 TD year, those stats were compiled during the course of competitive games.

In the interests of full disclosure, I am a bit bitter and self-serving in my loathing at Bellichick. I sit #6 in the Overall standings, but unlike most Owners in the top-10 I don't own a single Patriot (my own fault for not drafting any, I do admit) and I have this helpless feeling watching New England run up the score each week. I'm only 5 points ahead of the second place team (who also has Brady) in my own league, and I have a bad feeling that I'll somehow have to overcome 50 points per game from him each week the rest of the way.

I'm not complaining, just venting. It's all within the rules, and I had just as much opportunity to draft Brady or Moss as anyone else. I just wish SOMETHING could be done to slow down this unstoppable, magnificently evil force.

Shrink,

I could not agree with you more... The Brady/Moss thing is destroying fantasy leagues across the land. I think I posted something in week 2 or 3 on this as I sensed and saw something odd going on there. I saw a certain ANGER In how Brady looks and plays. I sensed (and even wrote) that I could picture Brady and Moss talking about how they would put up the most insane statisitcal season in NFL history this year out of arrogance.

You make a great point about the different WAYS Romo and Brady put up big numbers this week. Part of deciding who to play in fantasy is the matchup. To me, on a normal week, Brady did not have a great matchup given his opponent likely would not press them. I often see people talk about matchups in a way that makes no sense to me. Countless "fantasy experts" in the media touted what a great matchup Rothlesburger had. I was thinking it was bad given the Jets were unlikely to score much and ultimately not press the Steelers to do the same.

Brady and the Pats just run it up every week and are destroying their reputation across the country. Before this season started most admired the Patriots. Most applauded how they put together a TEAM full of class act players who "did it the right way.." They won through hard work, great preparation, with the image that they did not conduct themselves in the lower class manner that so many others do now in professional sports.

Is there a more hated team or organization in the NFL right now?
