It's great to hear from so many people this week who were glad to get the checks before Christmas. There's no reason for us to hold onto the money any longer as we can always make out a second check for you if you win the $100,000, right?

Tonight it's going to be a mix of rain and snow with a low of around 34. It's not raining yet, but it rained most of yesterday here and it's going to start raining later this afternoon. I unfortunately can't be in attendance as my daughter has an appointment later this afternoon and you don't get to choose when you can meet with specialists. We go once a week and we're at his mercy for appointments. Last Tuesday when he picked this Thursday at 2:30 for this week's appointment, I cringed and took one for the home team. My wife smiled, kind of knowing what was going on. But what can you do?

I hope it's not Favre's last home game because I HAVE to be at that. Please come back for one more year, Brett!!!

By the way, it's been raining ALL day here in Wisconsin. I think the NFL needs to pay the fans to attend tonight's game. What a mess this is going to be. I don't even think they'll let the teams take batting practice beforehand!

For those of you needing to figure out the weather for this week's starting lineups, let me just say it's going to be a mess at Lambeau Field tonight. Not sure if that helps or hurts certain players, but it's going to be no fun to play in this or to watch it from the stands.

May I please request the NFL NEVER to schedule a night December game at Lambeau ever again!

Question re: Satellite league pay-outs:
Do the checks go out after the entire season is over or do you send the regular season check after it's completion and send the playoff check after the playoffs?

I just want to be on the lookout for them.
