For the Primetime leagues, Greg, why don't you just let EVERYONE play for the championship? Afer all, once you increase the percentage of teams competing in the championship from 16 to 25% and increase the percentage of wild cards to 15%, it will SEEM like everyone is playing in the Primetime championship. You would absolutely cheapen the sh*t out of that league championship and its regular season.

As for question #1, can't see how a 3 yard screen or shuttle pass ranks equal to ANY other pass. That is what the masses want though in their attempt to boost rb numbers.

2011 LV#3 2nd Place

Thanks for the feedback Rick, but I'm not worried about cheapening the Primetime by having 25% of teams in the Championship Round. The best of the best will still prevail. It happens every year. At 15%, we won't have many Wild Card entries, but if someone did finish 4th in their league and did finish in the Top 15% of all teams that team would definitely deserve a spot in the Championship Round.

I have no problem with this move for the Primetime and I trust most of our players will agree, too. If people really want an incentive to keep improving their teams after a few early season losses, a Top 3 finish in your league in Total Points for a shot at the grand prize is the ULTIMATE incentive. Nobody should ever give up on their team now.

May the best team win.

Tell that to Wes Welker prior to this year. Not sure how many of his 100+ catches were passes thrown directly across the line of scrimmage/behind it/slightly in front, etc. but I would say at least 20-25 were of this variety.

The fact that the NFFC requires you start 3 WR's still makes them a valuable commodity.

How ya been Rick?? Long time no talk.

[/QUOTE]Exactly. In many cases the 3rd team allowed will be the 2nd highest scoring team in the league. First two awarded spots are the best record and most points. I've seem several examples where the 2nd highest scoring team has more points than the best record.

I do think this will keep more teams fighting a bit longer. Fighting for $100K is not the same as fighting for $700.
