Online Championship Payout for h2h record?

Is there a payout for the h2h winner? What if there is a tie?

Here's the league payout for the NFFC Online Championship:

League Prizes

1. First Place: $1,400 (most total points + best h2h record if one team wins both; if teams split the two top spots, then each team will earn $700 and play a three-week tiebreaker in Weeks 14-16 with the team scoring most total points during those three weeks earning the remaining $700 and being named league champ)
2. Second Place: $700 (most total points following league champ)

I saw that, but was hoping for clarification....

What if there is a split for best h2h record? Currently in my league for example there is 3 teams that are 9-2.

If we all finish 10-2 does that mean that all 3 teams play weeks 14-16 for most points and who ever scores the most is declared the H2H winner?

IKE2011 9 2 1645.55
MANKIND and the BIG WEEZY 9 -2 1559.75
Cobra Kai 9 2 1489.8
Over The Top 6 5 1698.85

Over The Top 6 5 1698.85 No. The tie-breaker is total points. Right now IKE2011 has best h2h record and the tie-breaker. He would earn $700 and Over the Top would earn $700 for most total points. They'd compete in Weeks 14-16 for the remaining $700 and advance to the Championship Round.

Over The Top 6 5 1698.85 It can become confusing. Here is how you need to look at it. There are two separate contests within each league. One for h2h and one for total points. In the event of a tie in the h2h, total points is the tie breaker. If the same h2h winner also has the most league points he is awarded the $1400 first prize. Second place ($700) is then awarded to the second place points team, regardless of where they finish in the h2h.

So theoretically you could finish tied for first in the h2h and not finish second due to an inferior point total. I hope that makes sense. Possibly the NFFC might want to have a separated set of standings for total points just to make it a bit more clearer. Right now the standings page gives the illusion that a second place team in the h2h is in second place in that particular league, that is not always the case.

So here's a good one for you...

5 way tie for first at 8-4. I'm one of the 5 and 2nd in overall points (flea flickers). 1st in points is also 8-4 (Bund). He's comfortably in the points lead (by 76) and I'm comfortably 2nd in points (by 68).

Team Bund 8 4 0 1802.9
flea flickers 8 4 0 1726.25
Bauler Shot Caller3 8 4 0 1658.2
Technotronics 8 4 0 1648.95
Waking Ariadne 8 4 0 1638

I'm going through the scenarios and he plays a 7-5 team, I play a 5-7 team and 2 of the other 8-4 teams play each other. So there will be at least one 9-4 team.
If I win, I'm guaranteed to finish 1st or 2nd, correct? Because I'm thinking if Bund wins, he wins the tiebreaker and I get 2nd because of points. If he loses, I get 1st in H2H (tiebreaker) and he gets the points title.

If I lose, I have to hope Bund wins so that he takes 1st and I would take 2nd because of points (assuming the points standings hold like stated above), correct? If he loses and I lose, I'm toast because someone else gets the H2H title and he would get the points title.

Does that look right?

That is correct. You could finish second in points and finish third in your league. But it's all in your hands this week: If you win and score enough points the worst you can do is finish second and advance to the Championship Round.

I am in a potentially disastrous position due to a deadbeat owner who has apparently stopped playing perhaps a month ago.

My league has 2 teams tied for best record 9-3.

One of these teams has a dominating point lead of over 100 points for the league high.

I am currently 2nd in points with an 11.8 point lead on the other 9-3 team, and a 20.35 point lead on the next team in line.

That 4th place team (only 20.35 points from 2nd) place the overall leader this final week while the other 9-3 team plays the deadbeat owner. If the top team loses then myself and 2 other owners all within 20-30 of each other are potentially screwed out of 2nd because of this one deadbeat owner.

Frustrating for sure, but there is nothing to be done about it.

I just have to hope I score the most points this week and both 9-3 teams win.

Very exciting finish, I just hope things play out properly.

One more thing...

1st Place for Record gets $700
2nd Place for Recode gets $700

Tie breakers are points

$700 then also goes to team w/ the most points scored

-----------
1st and 2nd place Record move to Playoffs w/ all the other winners?

1st and 2nd place Record move to Playoffs w/ all the other winners? I don't believe that this is accurate. See my post above. Second place is the second best point total, not second best h2h record.
