Each week, we'll showcase some of the top FAAB pickups in each league so that everyone can stay up to speed with some of the new acquisitions. Here's the going rate in each NFFC league for the most sought-after free agents:

New York League 1: Hankerchiefs had the high bid in this league, paying $245 for T.J. Houshmandzadeh. Jet Diehard paid $203 for the Detroit Lions and $161 for Wayne Chrebet. Other high bids were Appleman paying $116 for Az-Zahir Hakim and SVENGALI paying $109 for Drew Brees.

New York League 2: " ALL- IN " paid $175 for Derick Armstrong for this league’s high bid. Other high bids were Team Diesel paying $171 for Wayne Chrebet; footballinjuries.com paying $105 for Jerald Sowell and Team Diesel paying $102 for Ike Hilliard.

New York League 3: Dubya is for Winning!! had this week’s top bid, paying $248 for Ben Roethlisberger. Other high bids were The Underdogs paying $125 for Derick Armstrong; The Flying Elvis paying $113 for Wayne Chrebet and The REAL Deal paying $105 for Brock Forsey.

New York League 4: Lightstreet Lightning paid $255 for Steve Smith for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were QUAHOGS paying $221 for Wayne Chrebet and $202 for Jesse Chatman and Team Burns paying $121 for Bryant Johnson and $111 for Bobby Wade.

New York League 5: Team Ferreira had the high bid this week, paying $249 for Brock Forsey. Other high bids were Team Martino paying $131 for Joey Harris and Team Cummings paying $111 for Sammy Morris.

New York League 6: signs of chaos paid $375 for Rabih Abdullah for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were Pocket Aces paying $266 for Wayne Chrebet and Kate & Halle paying $105 for Charles Lee.

Chicago League 1: OUT OF THE SHADOWS had this week’s high bid, paying $739 for Reuben Droughns. GridIron Freaks paid $256 for Az-Zahir Hakim, while curbed enthusiasm paid $250 for Brandon Manumaleuna and Team Thompson paid $217 for Brock Forsey. Other high bids were Team Thompson paying $168 for Brad Hoover and The Manhattan Project paying $122 for Wayne Chrebet.

Chicago League 2: SpearmintRhino paid $200 for Marty Booker for this league’s high bid. Other high bids were Chicago Justice paying $176 for Brock Forsey; GilBillys+ paying $107 for Derick Armstrong and Team Dietz paying $101 for Ben Roethlisberger.

Chicago League 3: Big MO paid $848 for Reuben Droughns and Hoosier Hurricanes paid $465 for Marcus Robinson for this league’s high bids.

Chicago League 4: G & C Express paid $524 for Marcus Robinson for this league’s high bid. Other high bids were Lake Shore Drive paying $144 for Derick Armstrong and Quiet Storm paying $117 for Marty Booker and $101 for Travis Minor.

Las Vegas League 1: Team Eliason had this week’s high bid, paying $503 for Marcus Robinson. Other high bids were Yiz fancy pants paying $160 for Josh McCown and Spin Cycle Agitators paying $111 for Brock Forsey.

Las Vegas League 2: LV2 UFS had this league’s high bid, paying $138 for Derick Armstrong. Other high bids were LS Phantoms paying $126 for Az-Zahir Hakim and $106 for Shawn Bryson.

Las Vegas League 3: Steel City paid $177 for Phil Dawson for this league’s high bid. Other high bids were DoggieStyle paying $148 for Jesse Chatman; Team Pieper paying $125 for Kevin Faulk; KLN Gridiron Bunch paying $121 for Derick Armstrong; RapTors paying $107 for Bubba Franks and Steel City paying $101 for Az-Zahir Hakim.

Las Vegas League 4: LBS Dyv (Main Event) had this week’s high bid paying $311 for Andre' Davis. Other high bids were LBS Dyv (Main Event) paying $173 for Az-Zahir Hakim and Nip Tuck paying $102 for Derick Armstrong.

Las Vegas League 5: BULLDOZERS had this week’s high bid, paying $200 for Chad Lewis. Other high bids were Superpions paying $123 for Jesse Chatman and BigWill's Bombers paying $115 for Brian Griese.

Las Vegas League 6: Wiz's LeaderboardSports had this league’s high bid, paying $121 for Derick Armstrong.

New York Auction League: Team Diesel had this week’s high bid, paying $185 for Wayne Chrebet. Other high bids were Skillz That Thrillz paying $180 for Brian Griese and $177 for Derick Armstrong; Jerry's Raiders paying $156 for Jesse Chatman and This Is IT paying $105 for Brock Forsey.

Las Vegas/Chicago Auction League: Sweetness paid $911 for Reuben Droughns for this week’s high bid. Other high bids were Team Fitzpatrick paying $300 for Marcus Robinson and Uncommon Men paying $151 for Jesse Chatman.

Las Vegas Auction League: Follow Me had this week’s high bid, paying $255 for Az-Zahir Hakim. Other high bids were Zefurs paying $144 for Drew Brees; LBS Dyv (Auction) paying $111 for Jerome Pathon and Team Wagoner paying $100 for Nick Goings.

Geez, I wish I was in some of these other leagues - $203 for the Lions?
