Note For All Las Vegas League Drafters

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Aug 31, 2010 4:28 am

Okay, I'm heading to Las Vegas tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone at the Bellagio. I'm getting in tomorrow night and we'll host our first live draft on Thursday night in our suite. LET'S GET IT ON!! :D

All of the NFFC drafts this year will be held in the Convention Center area. We are in the Grand Ballrooms, which is where the second weekend NFBC auctions were held. Heck, follow the signs to the Wedding Chapel and you can't miss us. We are in Grand Ballroom 3 and 6 for the Friday events, and Grand Ballroom 1,2,3,6 for Saturday's drafts. Sunday's Ultimate and Super League will be in Grand Ballroom 3 again, right next to the Wedding Chapel. I'll even perform ceremonies for re-weddings if Bret & Nancy Borg want to get hitched again!! :D Heck, their team name is Wedded Blitz!! :D

My cell phone number is 715-254-5553 if you run into trouble. PLEASE BE ON TIME AND EVEN EARLY for all events. I hate struggling to find participants and we don't wait for anyone. We are starting on time every time. We have enough facilitators lined up for everything and myself, Dennis Miller and Ray Flowers will handle everything. And we have food and drink for everyone after the drafts on Saturday and during the auctions/DCs on Friday. I'm telling everyone to eat before you come to the draft, bring munchies if you need something to get through the drafts and then we'll all have a nice meal and put the draft boards together in one spot afterwards. Should be fun.

The Monday and Tuesday Supers will be in a suite and I'll contact those owners personally with information on that. But that should be a BLAST.

The Diamond League will also be hosted in Grand Ballroom 3 at 10 am on Friday, Sept. 10th. We have 11 owners live at the Bellagio and one owner in New York. Again, head to the Wedding Chapel and I'll be there. We'll have food and drink for everyone and I'll be the host of this draft with Ryan. Then we have some drafting of our own to do that weekend before watching the Packers somewhere on Sunday!! :D It should be a wild next two weeks in Las Vegas.

Here's the forecast for Las Vegas:
Wednesday: 100 degrees and sunny
Thursday: 104 and sunny
Friday: 106 and sunny
Saturday: 104 and sunny
Sunday: 102 and sunny
Monday: 98 and sunny

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See ya in Sin City. Who's joining me?

I'll be at the blackjack table and/or sportsbook during any waking moments not involving drafting.

Greg:

Wedding Chapel???? Don't know if Nancy will say "yes" this time!!! ;) If it will get us an NFFC Championship, her arm could be twisted. Better get that marriage councellor ready, if I don't draft her players... I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU SOON, GREG!!! Be safe!

I'll be there in Vegas for my lucky # 7th year! Any plans for an NFFC poker tournament this year? I'm ready to defend my co-championship!!
